Homelegance 1890KN-1EK Eastern King Size Upholstered Bed, Grey Fabric

The bed is darker as everyone has stated. As for assembly, that was difficult. My headboard came with screw holes, but no anchors for the screws to latch on to. Which made the bed impossible to put together without 4 trips to the hardware store, because all the parts are metric, and the holes ended up being bigger than actual needed. I had to wait two weeks for the delivery of the new bed. Which I then had to open the boxes, only take what I needed, repacked defective headboard and loose pieces and then spent two hours reassembling the bed. I felt like macgyver putting it together honestly. I was offered zero compensation for defective original bed, or the fact that I had to wait two weeks for a replacement. Shipping was also a nightmare, as they mixed up the days and were attempting to pick up headboard only a week early. So now a week later, the bed already squeaks. I’m still on the fence hence the 3 stars of approval

I like the bed frame but there are 2 things that are keeping me from giving it 4 stars - the fabric is much darker than grey. The color is almost a coffee color that can look grey if you talk yourself into it. That was a bit disappointing but we are able to live with it. And, you DEFINITELY need a box spring because the 3 bars underneath is definitely NOT enough. Our mattress started to sag down almost immediately and so we now need to either buy a box spring or wooden slats. I am asking other folks about the wooden slats option to see if that was a viable option for added support.It's a nice looking frame but certainly came with some unexpected issues that I didn't read about before.

This is a decent bed for the price. Everything was intact upon arrival and all pieces were accounted for. All in all my wife and I are satisfied with the looks and initial sturdiness. So far so good. This bed a definitely designed to be used with a box spring but you can get around it. I literally just bought 76' plywood and just distributed it along the bed frame. I will say that if you don't have a mattress 12' and above it will look weird without a box spring because the headboard is 40'+ high. I'm giving this 3 stars not because it's a bad product, but because Amazon and the delivery company gave awful customer service. The product is good but the picture of the color is deceptive. It's a definitely a charcoal grey not a grayish brown like it shows.

Pricing was great. 3 Stars because I felt a few things were off.1) Color is not as described, it's too dark so it's barely noticeable as grey. More of a dark dark charcoal.2) Feet for the bed are fragile and so cheap it will only serve one bedroom use and if you plan to move it, you risk them breaking off.3) Alignment of the support bars is not clear and they are not sufficient. I had to make wooden support boards to go across and hold effectively.4) Directions need to be more complete or offer a high quality resolution image.

Really good product for the price, the color does look a bit darker in person than the photo. It was exactly what we were looking for. The product came in when expected and it was pretty easy to build. 4 stars were only given because the planks that come with it that is suppose to hold the bed is too flimsy and we felt it would hold our mattress. I was able to do a few things to it. Overall we are very happy.

Shipped fast , Was easy to assemble. but not sur how it will hold up , Im afraid it wont last long! I hope not because I did pay $300 ! but all in all looks nice in my new house . what really gets me is that its got space between the matress and the bed which is a lil annoying ! butttttt well see how I like it

Item is much darker than shown, just as all ppl commented. However, my g/f and I knew that when we placed our order, so we were not surprised. Overall we like the item. Biggest problem is that it doesn't come with enough slat support. Expect to have to go to the hardward store and have some 1" wide boards cut to fit and give it some extra support.
