Should'a listened to da Reviews on MSD!!
All my life, hot rudders told me about how great MSD Ignition products were! So finally I purchased a MSD HEI distributor! Worked Okay for several years...though I noticed how it ran pretty hot. Can't be good for anything electronic!.... finally she quit working! After troubleshooting I found the coil had gave up da ghost! Replaced, once again she ran fine til today! Coil is out again after five weeks!Hope the warranty is better than the product! Lemme give them a call and find out if they'll stand behind their product when the going gets tough! Fingers crossed, not a warm fuzzy feeling for my daily driver!

Noticeable difference immediately
This is a twin-engine application in my boat each engine started much better cold and a noticeable throaty solid sounding engine on the first start. There is a difference between cheap ignition coil and this m s d right out of the box. I'll probably update this after my first outing on engine performance

Works great and helped my 454 come to life. Simple to install. Also installed a MSD cap, rotor, and control module at the same time.

Not the MSD I remember..
MSD has slipped over the years, the Chinese labeled ground wire off the coil was pinched and frayed out of the package, and the terminal connections were soldered past the point to where it they had to be tweaked to fit in the groove on the MSD cap.I replaced the coil, module, rotor, and cap with MSD parts.It works, but to be honest I didn't notice an improvement over the original Delco parts for the $ invested.
