Scarry powerful! Bette than expected! I already fried a set of digital calipers trying to de-mag the jaws because it sucked the whole thing onto the bed and zapped the calipers electroncs, lol! Its strength is actually a GOOD thing, you just gotta be careful. This is a serious tool!

It definitely does what it is designed to do. Very easy to use. It is quite heavy so I understand that it might be hard to ship well, without using a heavily reinforced box or case, but it was in a cardboard box and one of the base flanges is bent up. But it's a tool and the damage doesn't effect the performance.

This is a very powerful and effective demagnetizer. I also got an 80W type 2, which struggles demagnetizing anything bigger than a 1/2 drill bit. This one will demagnetize large items quickly. Highly recommended.

be careful as this will vibrate your work piece violently if you don't hold on. but this works well.

This device is absolutely awesome! I do not like tools to be magnetized. Since I use a magnetic parts tray, my tools pick up residual magnetism. This makes short work of remedying that.
