Great for neon glow, decent for charging glow in the dark
LEDs are within acceptable parameters- does neon glow well and charges glow in the dark "OK"- for this price it's a good buy. There are a lot of lights similar to this and we need to "weed out" the ones that are not good for either neon glow (like glow parties or for DJ's) OR charg8ing glow in the dark. It comes down to not just brightness or wattage but also the "wavelength" of light the LED's produce- anything between 365nm and 400nm is usually good for at least one or the other. Some are either way above or below that "color" or wavelength and there is no way to know until you plug it in.My unit is good- others who buy this should leave review if there fixture is also as good.

Its an $8 black light.
Theres nothing better you can get for $8. If you are looking for a very light, cheap black light that you can tape to the wall, then this is it. Nothing more. Works great for me, and is just bright enough to light up my room.

Good light .. small
Okay this thing is TINY .. I expected a bigger set up .. I thought only the light came with the box .. that’s how small the packaging was .. but the lamp itself is great .. just miniature

i think theres some false advertising issue as well because it looks like some of the pictures of it are just of ...
It doesnt seem to really light up anything. If anything i can see how it can be used as a stain detector, but as a room decor- No. it doesnt do anything in a room. I got this as a gift for my boyfriend. as u can see in the picture it barely produces a feild of light and is RIGHT next to a black light poster (on the right of the black light) and it still doesn’t work. i think theres some false advertising issue as well because it looks like some of the pictures of it are just of blacklights in a building (not even the one for sale) and a picture off the internet of people in blacklight makeup. this is NOT what u think youre getting if u want a black light for a room or party. very disappointed.

2 light settings on these!
I bought two of these UV light fixtures and I love that they have two settings on them. Low light and high light and the switch is on the cord. They put out quite a bit of light for as small as they are. I hope they last a good while because I think there is no way to replace the light strip inside it. But so far I really like them. Even the fact that the inside light can't be replaced the entire light fixture is not much more priced than a black light florescent T-8 type tube. So they are a good deal for the price I feel.
