Presto 09907 Sealing Ring (1075)

I bought this to have on hand for a spare.

I have the 1976 canner, in hindsight old seal would have worked, found in the manual that you are actually suppose to lube these (I used a little vegetable oil). This seal fits both models from my year (Difference between the canners is in height only same diameter) and likely fits a large swath of Presto pressure canners.Putting new seal in is a bit of a pain, keeping pressing in as you rotate around and eventually you will get it to pop in place. Lube it up with a pastry brush with cooking oil and then test fit until you have it going on and off with ease. I gave it a quick pressure test to max and no issues.

At first, very disappointed, gasket was about half an inch too big? Luckily I still had the original owners manual for my 47 year old canner. Instruction said to compress while installing, and it worked!

I have a very old Presto 21-B CA21 Canner and this fit but was a huge pain to install. I had some build up in the groove so I took a butter knife and scraped it all off and it was still difficult but I got it in there. Seemed like it was almost a half inch too big when I first tried but after I removed the build up it was more like a quarter inch too big but after working it around and around it finally fit. This was an exact match for my cooker so not sure why it was such a hard fit...possibly because it's aftermarket. I haven't tried it yet so that will the true test

replaced my old steamliner canner seal with this couldn't be happier I am ordering more to have on hand

It fit perfect & I've already used my pressure cooker several times. No problems so far. I would buy this again!

Seemed ok didn't fit, but stated it would fit according to make and model #.

I wasn't sure if this would fit my Steamliner model A-16 pressure coooker. It fits. It works great!
