First impressions of these socks is good. They feel nice and snug on the foot, not too loose or tight, but I noticed straight away that my feet felt warm, possibly due to the blend of materials. They are only 30% cotton and the rest is man-made fibres to get the elasticity.I wore these for s spin session at the gym, which was a 45-minute sweat session. They stayed where they were supposed to and didn't give me any issues with rubbing - although my gym cycling shoes are well worn in so I wouldn't expect any problems. Par for the course my feet were very sweaty afterwards. In all fairness any kind of 'cooling technology', like these socks purport to have, will be negated once your foot is stuffed inside a shoe. I suspect they may improve with use and washing, so overall I'm pleased with them.

UPDATE - I love these socks and I always wear them for running.I am used to wearing cheap sports socks and these are way better, particularly in their breathability and in staying up without clinging around my ankle. The material is also much nicer. It is pleasant-feeling, slightly stretchy and doesn't feel artificial. It feels a bit like wool but is more comfortable - I don't like woolen socks at all but these are wonderfully comfortable. They are nicely tailored to fit around the heel. They are mediumly thick.I was given this product free for review. Although I have given it 5 stars, I do so as an exception, not as a rule. I write objective reviews, not advertisements. There are many instances where I have pointed out important problems with products that have been enthusiastically reviewed.
