Copco Plastic Acadia Travel Mug, 16-Ounce, Brown

I was searching for a microwaveable, insulated travel cup. The reviews for this cup were contradictory so I decided to take a chance. It's not everything I hoped for but, for the price, I'm keeping it.1) It is REALLY pretty with a clean white exterior and a silicone band in your choice of color. The band provides a great grip, and I assume it also contributes to the insulation. The cup fits easily in my cup holder.2) It IS insulated (the packaging says it is double walled) but it is not extremely insulated. I can feel that the cup is warm, which means it is leaking heat, but it's much better than no insulation at all. Specifically, I used to fill a paper cup of coffee, the cup was too hot to hold comfortably, and the coffee was stone cold in 30 minutes. I can carry this new cup in comfort and the last of the coffee is still almost warm after 90 minutes.3) It is dishwasher safe (top-rack per the packaging). I've run it through a few times already.4) It is microwave safe. The packaging recommends nuking it in 20 second increments. I nuked it for longer before I read the instructions, but I probably wouldn't go so far as to boil water in it.5) I was so puzzled by the reviews about this cup being leakproof and the lid being screw-on. I thought -- and hoped -- that I could screw on the lid and toss it into a bag. Let's be clear: It's leakproof the way every cup that holds liquid should be leakproof: It doesn't leak liquid out of the bottom. That's a pretty basic expectation. It also doesn't leak out from under the lid, but neither does a paper cup with a plastic snap-on lid. The lid is screw-on, so it's secure, but there is a sipping hole at the top which has no cover and will pour liquid if you tip it over. It's a fine cup if you keep it upright. It's not the throw it in my bag travel cup I was hoping for.Overall, a good cup, but not a great cup. I prefer something that I could close up entirely, but this is the only cup I have found so far that is both insulated and microwaveable. I'm giving it 5 stars because it essentially delivers what it promises.

These cups exceeded my expectations. I use these to reduce the number of cups I discard. They are easy to clean (I wash by hand) , have a good no spill seal, fit in the cup holder and are pleasant to drink out of.

I was looking for a to-go cup style and this my friends is it! I don't want to wait forever for my drinks to get cool enough to drink this cup does keep it warm but not too hot to start drinking away! Might have to order one for the hubby too!

Perfect size for our travels and coffee refills on the go. Keeps coffee warm till it gone. Easy to handle

Great mugs. I love them. It keeps my beverage hot or cold. Plus, it is easy to hold, so it's much harder for it to slip out of your hands. I love the lids. I only use these mugs now.

Great cup! Love that I can heat up in the microwave. Lid must be removed before zapping. Funny thing on lid they put air vent in the middle so your nose plugs it while your drinking. Not bad just kinda funny.

Nice cup for hot and cold drinks . It will stain after a while if used for coffee or tea. Lasts about 2 years before I replace. Fits my Keurig k-elite. Easy to pick up and slip resistant. Make sure its top is screwed on straight. Not spill proof but with top on it helps if it does spill.
