You get what you pay for! I am not complaining when I say that either. You pay 75 dollars for 4 turning tools that would cost you that per tool normally don’t expect perfect finish and no burrs and dings. These are a killer deal! If you are a machinist you’d best understand the bargain here. You couldn’t rough one of these tools out for this price. Don’t be a Melvin, save some money, buy these for your day to day general turning. Or go spend literally 4 times the price and do the same thing, your call. The chinesium inserts may be killer or may just wad up right outa the gate who knows but they cost you next to nothing so don’t complain. Slap some name brand carbide in these Johnny’s and go make a damn part cause if your spindle ain’t turning you ain’t earning. Even if one snaps in half you have 3 back ups. If you are a tool fanatic and brand fiend these aren’t your pick, but if you make parts for a living and don’t wanna blow your whole wad on a turning tool your just gonna reef on these will fit the bill splendidly. The case is just freaking hilarious too, perfect for throwing at your least favorite co worker or right in the trash. Or if you are into it I guess you could keep tools in it. I’m happier than a pig in slop though and intend to burry each on of these perfect 4/10’s about half an insert deep and see how hard I can feed. Looks ain’t everything folks, performance is what matters. The inserts fit well in their pockets, the shanks are within .005 of size, and the hardware all functions. Literally what more can you ask for for the price. Kick ass 10/10 value, buy now or forever wonder if and what could have been.

Above middle of the road quality for this price. Hardware is a little soft but the tools seem alright.

The case (part of the product) does not hold the items very well, 2 of the 4 tools arrived with chipped inserts because the banged against each other.

These holders have worked great for me. They hold the tool tight and are quite rigid in a 300 series holder. The inserts are ok but then your not buying the holder because if the inserts. I have done multiple jobs with these and love them. Last photo shows the work it does out of the box with supplied inserts.

Using these on my Haas. They hold up.

The box it showed up in was fine, so the case must have been damaged before packaging. looks like it leaked some water into the case and the tools look rusty. Not really happy about receiving a damaged product! Looking to send it back for a new item.

Having the carbide sub seat ensures that there is no deformation of the steel surface. Very well made. Good value.

Everything works well, however I have not tried the threading tool yet.

Used on one job so far. Turned some 4340 steel 2”Diameter 17” long. Shoulder and chafer . Tip of insert worked great and made a good finish. Holders are well build and have a good fit and finish. Hight of tool is perfect for my machine with no shims. 3/4” hight !!
