Horrible design. Stick with the original SwageU
Such a huge step backward, it’s hard to believe it’s made by the same company. The Original SwageU ASIN: B00K1GUY9A was one of the best around-the-neck headsets.I figured Rokit took it up a notch with the EVO. I was wrong. I have owned 3 swageU headsets.all had similar problems with the mic, and a random life-expectancey. But they are only $20.Comparing the 2 headsets directly: SwageU has about 8 meters of range, and about 5 meters throughwalls, and bathroom. The EVO has about 3 meters (direct line of sight) and 1.5 through a wall.I can leave my iPhone on the coffee table, (charging) and walk all over my apartment, with no drop off.I can even take 2 steps out the front door before I get some chop. The EVO is made for someonewho wants to carry the phone around with them, and listen. The sound is much clearer and louder on the SwageU, then the EVO. I’m talking about 70% louder. The speakers on the EVO that I got were a bit off. They were more leaning to the left. So when Ilisten to music, it sounds like my right ear has a problem. The reason I keep buying the SwageU, is it’s the only headset that is taking functionality into account, morethen slick design. I HATE HATE HATE the single-button operation on most headsets. Press and hold… Press twice….Press twice fast, then hold…. ugh. The SwageU has a different button for each function… AND… the buttons are raised. The raised buttons lets you feel where the button is, and you can be sure you are pressing the correct button. The EVO has one long button, that blends into the body, and you have to press the correct spot on the buttonto get it to do what you want.Horrible design.

I got a dud
Arrived broken, however seller did refund my money with no problems whatsoever. Very bulky and I wasn't impressed with the sound quality. But maybe I just had a bad set. If you're looking for $20 set of bluetooth headphones, GRDE sold by greentimeszone. I bought a black/blue pair and they were amazing!!! I was having to purchase new ones every 4 to 5 months. I'm constantly working in and out of cnc machines so I'm always snagging them on things. So I've gone through my fair share. But I buckled down and got me a high priced LG set from Walmart and I got a warranty on them. So now I can just return them when they go bad. But just to compare my Lg ($80 pair) to the GRDE, the GRDE still blows my Lg set out of the water on sound. They are about 30-40% louder than my Lg's. Very comfortable neck band. Has some sort of memory foam. It's weird but feels very comfortable. I wanted to buy another pair and I probably will for other uses than work. But for now, I just got tired of buying, buying buying. Haha, I should be getting some kind of kick back. 😉

Rokit Boost, ROCKS
Let me tell you a story about Rokit Boost. I ordered this headset about two months ago, and I was thrilled to receive it. It paired very quickly, and the sound quality was phenomenal and the day to day operation of this headset was great. End of story, I was pleased. Fast forward, about three weeks ago, I noticed that the left ear piece came off. I thought that I could easily fix it, but I couldn't. I asked Amazon if there was a fix, and they said no, and that they would give me my money back. Well, that is fine, but I wanted my headset fixed. So I contacted Rokit Boost, and they asked me a few questions, I sent them my order, and they replaced my headset. They are the bomb diggity, and I am thrilled with my new headset. Thank you Rokit Boost for standing behind your amazing product!

I really wanted to keep this.....
They were easy to use and appeared well made. However, the sound cut out intermittently and the short distance should not have been an issue. These were around my neck. My device was on my armband no more than 8" away. I'm not tall, so there was not a great distance. Bluetooth shouldn't have a problem with such a short distance. The sound wasn't bad, but having my music or books cut out drove me crazy. It took less than 24 hours to push me over the edge and return them.

It sounded great, but only worked if I held the phone ...
It sounded great, but only worked if I held the phone close to the headset. Cut in an out when the phone was in my holster and I was moving. At first I thought maybe I hadn't charged it long enough (Manual says 2 hour charge time to full). So I charged it overnight and reset my iPhone and repaired, same thing. From the other reviews it looks like this is just a defective set, maybe dropped in shipping, but no sign of it. Either way going back, I'll look for something else.

OK, but not durable and VERY short bluetooth range
These worked fine when they came, were pretty comfortable, sound was decent, and according to people on the other end of my calls, the mic worked well and transmitted clear sound. Although the mic does also appear to transmit ambient noise perhaps better than your normal mobile phone built-in mic, so people would complain sometimes about the background noise. My primary complaints are, first, that the bluetooth range is terrible. Wearing these, if I put my phone in my back pocket the sound would be degraded. Only if I held the phone in my hand or put it in my front pocket did the sound remain clear. Second, the reason I'm writing about this in the past tense is that mine broke already after about 50 days of use. Lost sound in one earpiece. I'm not necessarily claiming this is a defect because I was travelling and carrying some shoulder strap bags, so there may have been some knocking about on my part, but nothing major. I'm disappointed that this item is not built a little more durable considering it is a wearable.I will buy something different to replace it.

APTX technology makes this headset great.
I got this product after trying the style that has everything built into the earpieces. This product is much better in that it has aptx technology that eliminates virtually all of the skips I experienced with the other headset. The other features I liked were that voice commands work great with the Google Now and Google Music. If I wear them with a polo shirt the unit can not been seen under the collar except for the wires and earplugs when in use. Battery life is great - I have listened for 3 hours with no charge. I have not run them all the way down yet. I recommend them.
