The Machine Girl: Jacked!

The Machine Girl: Jacked! Definitive Decade One.. is the same old "Machine Girl" movie that TokyoShock has been re-releasing for years. This must be their 6th or 7th release of it. Don't go in to this expecting it to be a sequal.With that said, this Blu-Ray shows a VERY noticeable improvement over the earlier Blu-Ray (and DVD) releases. Clarity is much, much improved with the black levels much more normalized and resolution also seemingly improved. Recommended for that part alone!The set also includes a 2nd disc of extras (120 minutes worth, according to the box!) - Unfortunately the extras disc is DVD Only. The extras most likely would have fit onto the main disc (the film is only about 90 minutes long) or would be much better as a Blu-Ray for the enhanced clarity available.It's also a bit disappointing that Tokyo Shock is recycling the same exact cover art for all of these editions (the standard release, the "Remix", the "Jacked!" edition, the tin case, etc..) - it would be nice to see some changes done there.If you own any of the previous releases and enjoyed it, it's worth it for the upgrade in A/V alone!
