Exellent for 8 bucks!
I've wanted to make a Velcro cold vest for my tummy and back. I know the cold reduces blood flow to the area and since I've got an apple shape going wearing a vest for 20minutes of and on can help with the abdominal fat that causes heart disease. This is sturdy thick and a good price for that. The only thing is that you must let it air out because it smells of rubber for a few days which is why 4 stars and not 5. If I could give 4.5 I would. This stuff also works well as a coaster, mouse pad, shoe insoles, sacral cushion and indoor child's play area so when they fall it's not on hard tile or concrete or suffer from rug burn and obviously a floor pad. The ice vest also helps my back pain when alternating with a heat pad. the idea has given me hope of losing the apple and going back to my pear shape. Same idea is behind the cool laser but without spending tons of cash. I just needed the neoprene, e6000 (don't try sowing this stuff together if you want to save time and fix mistakes easily also E6000 is a carcinogen and is smelly until dry, work outside or in a well ventilated room and do no get e6000 on your skin and keep away from children), tacky glue (to glue soft cloth to the neoprene to make it less likely to tear and more wearable and less chaffing as it is rubber), the flexi-freeze ice pouches and Velcro, and a tape measure. Don't try this without consulting a doctor as having ice over your internal organs for an extended period may cause hypothermia especially in those who have problems regulating their body temp. Do not use on children or teens. I'm not selling it I'm just saying if you try this use caution and always make a barrier between the ice and skin. I used a thinner cloth covered piece of neoprene I'd had from an earlier time that gave me the idea in the first place.

Good
So this sanding pad is great for sanding and routing and not having the product move around. However, it does rip fairly easy if you aren’t carful and catch a sharp corner of a door or a drawer in it. It does the job nicely just be aware of what you are doing.

Great for 3D Printing
Works great for my application! I started investing more money in my 3D printing set up and I purchased a large plywood sheet of 3/4" thickness and cut it into a 2'x3' section to provide an ample surface for my two 3D printers. The table I use is a six 5-gallon water jug holder [ ASIN: B001I0EFIO ].With that said, the table's plastic nature would slide all over the place on my garage polished cement floor. Purchasing this mat both reduced my vibrations and completely got rid of the slippage issue. I've bought smaller adhesive backed rubber patches and stuck them on the sides of the 3/4" thick plywood base where they make contact with the wall. These improvements were about $50 dollars however for my 3D printing needs they greatly improved the quality of prints and they also look quite nice when installed.Regarding the smell; I purchased a used pad from Amazon Warehouse which I assume was a return for such common complaints. Since this was going in my garage I did not care about this in the first place. Once I received it, I can confirm it has an odor to it but its not as excessive as others may state. I gave it a few squirts of Fabreeze and that seemed to do some work on the odor. Finally, yes I highly recommend this if youre looking to reduce vibrations or provide friction to the base of your table. I'm planning on buying a second unit to put directly on top of my ply wood sheet. I already test fit the one I put on the floor when I initially received it; the pad is a little bigger than the 2'x3' dimensions they provide however its always better to receive more than less, I can always cut the excess off If I desired.

Muffled sewing machine sound
Wanted something to muffle the sound of my sewing machine but didn't want to spend the amount usually quoted for a "dedicated anti-vibration" sewing machine mat. This Shop Fox W1322 Anti-vibration Pad works to perfection! I simply trimmed it, with a pair of scissors, to fit the underside dimensions of my sewing machine. Works like a charm. Sewing is now quieter and my sewing machine stays put. The remaining pad material was used to line my scissors drawer....what a positive difference.....then, I replaced a worn out mousepad for the computer...lined one of the drawers in the bathroom cabinet...cut a piece for the top of my sewing table for my scissors to rest on - the scissors don't scratch the cabinet surface and stay handily right where I want them. I used the remaining piece under my thread stand. If I'd been more generous, I would have lined my hubby's tool box. And...that kitchen drawer with lids...that would be a good place to use....oh yeah the drawer under the range....and, I suppose one could use it for its original purpose....in the shop. LOL. Appears as though I may need to order another one....

Good, Yet Somewhat Expensive
Good for a custom computer case I am building where a hard drive cage will be sitting on a surface I don't want vibrating. In reality, this isn't much more than a giant rubber (not foam) mouse pad without the fabric top, but the grip of the rubber is needed for this application. the smooth fabric of a mouse pad wouldn't dampen the vibration as well.I bring the mouse pad comparison up to give people an idea of what they are getting, but also to relate to the cost. For enough mouse pads to match the size of this thing, you would have to buy 6 mouse pads or so.The indirect vibration from tests of the hard drive cage has essentially stopped when setting the cage on the material on a table. Also, the vibration of the cage itself has dramatically reduced. I only tested both with my hand, but for my needs, that is good enough.I would recommend this product. I can say that ordering it, most of the money likely goes toward shipping and packaging. If you need this stuff in larger quantities, you can probably find a better deal out there

Decent
I recommend something better then this product. It doesn’t do much for vibration at all.

Buen material
Excelente material. Hasta el momento solo lo he utilizado para ponerlo en el marco de una puerta de metal, así cuando se azota amortigua el golpe y los cristales no se rompen, además de que no hace tanto ruido al cerrarse por el viento.

Great workshop work surface
I had one of these pads many years ago but it eventually got so torn up from abuse that I ended up turning it into smaller pieces to place under the corners of woodworking projects. It's a good size and allows you to place semi- finished projects on a table while still working on them without damaging the project's surface. The pad is quite firm but still "sticky" enough that things don't slide around on it while you sand or route. It grips surfaces better than the open grid type of router pad also commonly sold. If you are a frequent woodworker, this is an indispensable part of your tool collection. Highly recommended.

Works but tears easy
I put it on top of my appliances. In a static application like that, I imagine it can last forever. However, I took it off for a moment and used it to store tools (and protect flooring) while working around the house. Somehow, it tore. I think this was a freak edge case, but for something that cost $25 and looked kinda industrial, I just wished it actually was.

I do use it.
I do use it when I exercise, I just wish that I can contact the seller to tell them to send it to me via regular mail. Couriers where I live are not available evenings and weekends (Plus I take public transit). But fortunately I did speak with Puralator, and they have one day that I can make and they can help speed up the courier if need be. Otherwise, it was all good.
