Thought this drive would be an easy way to transfer pics from my phone to computer, and then to have an external backup of all my photos. First, the initial trial at backing up the phone photos did not work, but did on second try. Backing up the computer pic files was a bust. Trying one folder at a time worked. However, selecting multiple folders for copying, resulted in folders on the drive with no files. Not going to trust that the drive worked if I have to copy the files to a folder to make sure they are there, let alone the added time to do so. Returned without a problem! Purchasing a different device!

So, I bought this knowing it wasn’t a “SanDisk” iPhone flash drive. My expectations weren’t super high, but this item didn’t even meet my lowered expectations. The app that you download doesn’t give a lot of options. When you plug the flash drive into your iPhone, everything seems like it will work perfect, but after about a minute of transferring files, you get a prompt on your phone that says the connected device is not recognized, or the file transfer just stops. At most, I can transfer 2-7 photos at a time. I was expecting to plug the flash drive in and walk away until the download was over. Not the case. The app or the phone or the the bad programming between the two made it absolutely a waste of time and money for this product. I’m not a fan of spending tons of money on products that have a cheeped equivalent, but this is on the cheep side of cheep. DON’T BUY!!!!!!

I purchased this to use for a Tesla dashcam. Loved the high capacity and the built-in Lightning connector I thought would make it easy to quickly check captured footage. However, I frequently received errors that the storage was too slow to capture Sentry footage which I do not get any of my other USB storage. In addition, the mechanical design was rather flimsy with no "clicks" to keep the unit with either the USB or Lightning connector extended making it awkward and even difficult to plug into ports. I returned the storage for refund.

I purchased one of the 512GB drives and when it didn't copy files properly Amazon was nice enough to send me another. Neither of them worked. I've had trouble in the past purchasing lower-priced flash drives. Crapshoot on whether or not they will work. When I am 0 for 2 on this product I would not recommend purchasing.

This started out being a great buy; the app was easy to download and use, the speed was adequate, and it saved a step when storing photos, but as others have said, the slide broke after two usages. It was stiff and hard to move and then the knob for the slide broke off. I am hoping to be able to get the photos off of it, but not sure I can even do that. Very disappointing. I am only glad I moved photos that weren't precious as a test. I don't recommend this product.

This worked fine as a USB drive for my computer, but once I attempt to use it on my iPhone, I need to install a dodgy app to access files when connected via the lightning port. Even when plugged into a USB hub, the phone will only access files through the weird, basic app. Not good for music playlists, and limited when it comes to videos.Looking for storage - no problem, this will work. However, if you need this as a complement to your iOS device, look elsewhere.
