Franklin Sports Night Lightning Football

Size was bigger than a junior but smaller than college ball. The ball is very slick making it not possible to pick up with one hand. The glow strips are way cool!!! Use a black light to charge it instead of a lamp. It charges faster.

I wanted something to toss around the pool so my boys could get comfortable catching a football without getting hurt or getting scared of it. This is the perfect size and weight, not too hard but way easier to handle than foam balls. And it doesn't soak up water. Haven't tried it at night yet. My boys are 5-10 years old, and it's just the right size for their hands.

I was looking for a smaller-sized football to use with my family and friends. I purchased this football because the size was right, the price is right, and the color is perfect. The glow feature is an added bonus.The size is just right. I have larger hands than others and I have been able to grip the ball easily. My nieces and nephews, as well as my siblings have all been able to grip and throw the ball with ease. I also took it to a party with women my age and we all had an easy time throwing the football around. It's a great size for all players.The glow on this ball is kind of weak though. We played at night and couldn't see it very well. We turned on some yard lights and couldn't see the ball very well with that either. I don't think this ball is really good for nighttime play, but I'll maybe try again sometime.My nieces and nephews also played with this in the backyard pool. The book worked well in the water, even though it became a little slick and difficult to grip when wet.If the glow on this ball were a little better, it would be five stars. But for the price and the fun that this ball brings, you can't go wrong. Definitely buy this one.

I bought this because my nephew specifically asked for a glow in the dark football. I was really surprised just how well the ball flies. It is really easy for him to throw and catch and has lasted a long time despite the abuse we put it through. We have on a lot of occasions played in the street and the ball has taken a lot of hits on the asphalt and still looks good.

Alright I guess. The green is slick plasticky feeling and scruffs really easily and YOU CANNOT play with this in even any moderate darkness. The glow in the dark is technically there but really just a rumor. All in all I think if you want glow in the dark get the one with an actual light inside of it or the one that requires glasses. The green part on this ball makes it harder to catch and provides no other real benefit except for looks? Lol

This football is very good quality and the neon stripes makes it very visible. My son is going to be three in a couple of months and we already started the basics of tossing it back and forth. I look forward to having a real catch session when he is a bit bigger.

The ball itself looks and feels great. I was really excited to use it. But before using it for the first time, it seemed like it could use a little air. I went to put the needle in the hole, and the entire rubber base for the air hole pulled away from the ball, leaving the ball absolutely useless. It has no way of holding any air now. I know how to use my air pump. This was faulty craftsmanship in my opinion. I assume that not all the balls made by Franklin are like this, so I feel bad giving it a one star rating, but if I can't even use the ball one time before it goes bad, one star is the best I can do.Update: I contacted Franklin and explained what happened. Franklin stood behind their product and is shipping me a brand new ball. I was very impressed with Franklin's customer service, and I will be purchasing from their company again. Thank you Franklin for making this right.

Its great! Sadly I had to return it because I bought it for my dog and it was too big for him, but the bright green truly does a great job at standing out in the dark.

Tal cual como se ve en las fotos, excelente para jugar con los amigos, solo el material negro se desgasta muy fácil, por todo lo demás está bien

El balón es muy bonito, de buen tamaño y construcción, pero tiene un gran problema, es muy resbaladizo, las zonas verdes que son las que brillan en la oscuridad, tienen un grip o agarre aceptable, pero las zonas negras que es la mayor parte no tienen nada de grip y con solo un poco de sudor se vuelve resbaladizo lo que dificulta tanto atrapar como tener el agarre suficiente para lanzar bien, un pequeño graaan detalle porque incluso para mi como adulto se dificulta, aun mas para las manos pequeñas de los niños

Purchase as a gift for a grandson. He is very happy with it.
