The Infamous Tapping/ticking noise! In a silent room with little noise, you will hear the call of the acrylic, once only heard inside a nail salon now in your very own home. The flame utilizes a magnetic pull creating a tap when the flame pendulum makes contact with the inside diameter & internal structure of the candle. The sound can be mitigated with the use of electrical tape, easy placement that allows for adjustments without needing to rush & thick enough to layer desired thickness’s with less tape. (Heat from the bulb will not cause sticky issues or sag (( Heat from the room or too many layers of tape can cause sag!))) Call your friend who paints tiny LOTR figurines, this will take time and patience. I warn you that even I got frustrated, considering how many candles you purchased. ( several small thin strips can be layered and placed inside where the tapping is created. (Tapping Locations: The ledge below the light bulb housing is the first location, towards the bottom of the pendant where the magnetic component is molded within the plastic pendulum is the next point of contact, along with the inside diameter of the candle where the flame hangs across a wire, this is less likely but can cause the sound if the first two do not initially solve the issue.) Place the tiny end of the sticky slivers of layered tapes ends, on the end of a thin wired object, ( tiny screw driver, safety pin, tooth pick…) this can be carefully placed inside of the candle in order to dampen the tapping. Placing the tape can be tedious but stay calm and remember you have unlimited attempts! Depending on your level of OCD you could silence each candle completely. You will find the silent flickers with a few random dampened taps to be a much more relaxing experience. Overall these candles are A+ Sensationally Stunning! Find comfort in knowing you can enjoy candles unattended, without the damage that fire can cause.

The candles themselves are attractive. They use a better technology for the flames which makes them look more attractive, except that they click when moving. One benefit of the newer flame technology is that it gives the appearance of flickering flame both as one looks directly at the candles and when one views the luminescence of the flame against the wall. The timers on the largest two candles do not work, but they work fine on the others. I imagine I could have the malfunctioning candles replaced, but I don't want to give them up this close to the holidays.

I love that these candles are somewhat slender and are not to chunky for my table top lanterns. The way they flicker is beautiful and natural. The candles can also be set to give off a steady glow. They do make a clicking sound, but that is not a dealbreaker for me. Because they are in a location where their is ambient sound in the room. It’s so convenient to have the option to use the timer feature or the remote control. I am enjoying these lovely candles.

The candles themselves look and function well, and add a nice ambiance to any room. But the remote, for me, has basically been useless. Half the time the basic buttons (like on\off) don't work. I have to hit them like 100 times. And for other functions I don't see any changes happening when I attempt to switch them on\off, so I've given up. If you're looking for a "hands off" option with the remote I'd keep looking. Otherwise they're not a terrible buy.

Love these, one of the candles came broken. I didn't want to have to deal with sending it back and waiting for a new set/replacement. However, where I have placed these an additional candle may have made it too crowded. They work great, sometimes it takes the remote a few times to get all the candles synced.

I actually love these candles! Not only do they provide the effect of real candles, they are safe for my pets and forgetful me (by not putting out real candles).The remotes that come with them works well enough for me. However, I have found that, if not all candles light with one push of the ON button, push ON again and all will come on. Dimmer and brighter buttons don’t seem to work at all. But that doesn’t matter to me at all. Never tried the timer.

These Candles look great! There is a feature where you can change them to flicker at different intervals, which gave them a more realistic glow and warmth. You can also just have them on with no flicker. They are perfect for the hearth.

These look so real. Several options of brightness, flickering and with this many candles you can spread them all around the house. The only thing to watch for is if you drop them they dent like real candles, probably because the exterior is made of real candle wax, but this detail adds to the authentic look. I’m going to buy another set.

The media could not be loaded.  I like how realistic they look. Having a remote is super convenient. I don't use the timer much, as it drains the battery faster. The only downside is that as realistic as they are when turned on, the flames look equally unrealistic when it's turned off. But that doesn't bother me really. Be careful when opening the package & removing the film. The wax is more brittle than a regular candle, and will break easily if dropped.

I absolutely love these! So far I have had them burning for a week. The timer is wonky on two of them but thanks to the remote I can turn them on again. What surprised me the most is that once the timer is set. They will automatically come on the next night at the same time and remain lit except for those 2.

I like the glow, I find it has to be above eye level so you cant see the fake flame on the wire or be at a reasonable distance away but placed in amongst greenery etc they are quite beautiful. One arrived cracked which was disappointing but just use clear packing tape to hold it together and it works fine.

Didn’t expect them to be as yellow but they work fine

Appropriate Christmas Gift or anytime.the remote control makes it easy to set the times of operation.I can recommend them
