Cressi Neoprene Mask Strap Cover - Comfortable Cover for Diving Mask, Ideal for Long Hair or for Identification

First thing first I knew exactly what I was buying because I did adequate research however I really think that amazon should rename this item to "neoprene strap cover". If you read the negative reviews you can simply see the the customers were misguided by the wording of this items' name.The product itself is great, fits well over strap with two Velcro bits inside that keeps it from shifting,does not pull my hear at all even when it is long:)For those who are wondering how it works, you simply take one side of the strap completely out of the mask clip and then you slide that side of the strap through the neoprene cover,once in place there are two Velcro bit inside you can press together to prevent it from shifting. Lastly you run the strap back through the clip on the mask and adjust to fit.For those who thinks that is too much, there are other covers that have Velcro lining the insides at the top and bottom of the cover, so you can simply pull apart and stick back together and it works just the same. However the one I have is a tad bit smaller than this cressi one so you will have to take your strap size into consideration :)

Please RENAME this immediately to prevent confusion. I wanted a replacement strap for a silicone mask strap that someone broke, then read the reviews that clarified that this is a mask strap COVER, not the strap itself! I would still buy this, since I bought neoprene mask strap covers from a dive shop 20+ years ago, and paid much more for them. They are much more comfortable than the simple straps that come from the factory, and don't pull your hair or get tangled in your hair like the rubber and silicone straps.

I got so tired of the silicone strap getting tangled in my hair, so with my last mask, I purchased a neoprene strap and I love it. The Cressi straps are easy to get off of the mask, so the mask strap goes on easily.

PThis product worked just as designed. I tried a different one last year it did not work. I am happy with my purchase and would recommend this strap.
