Auscamotek Ghillie Suit Poncho for Hunting Bird Watch Gilly Camouflage Cloak Green and Desert

I wanted a fairly inexpensive ghillie to hunt.I being a former military sniper, chose not to spend hundreds of hours building a true ghillie. ( I'm a family man now..lol)Heres my review.ProsIts fairly light weight and has enough space between the threads to allow air flow keeping you cool. Even in hot summer climates.It being synthetic there won't be hours of sneezing nor iching.Stitching is fairly durable.Packs up nicely in its carring pouch.Very easy on and off and as I said as far as wieght..very very light..( remember the old military saying..ounces equals pounds..pounds equal pain)Cons.It being a bought ghillie it won't match your particular region as far as color of vegetation.Chemical smell. Its strong..so you will have to season you ghillie if your hunting.Lots and lots of loose threads. I am find myself picking up random strands and tieing them back on.Lack of access to tie points.Traditional ghillie use netting. This does NOT HAVE netting..making it a obstacle to attach additional jute.ColorIt is NOT woodland!This is more like sandy ground with light vegetation..( think of a beach with white sand and sparce grass)Pattern. The entire point of a ghillie suit is to break up a pattern..( I want to look like a brush or patch of grass..not a guy wearing a ghillie)This suit is a pattern with predictable placement.Overall the old saying you get what you pay for DOES apply here.

Lightweight and packable, but it’s not gonna last in a long rough country stalk . You get what you pay for.

Amazing for the price. Great for wearing or as a blind around my tree stands. Mesh stops mosquitoes but not a no-see-um fly.

For the price this is not bad but this is not high quality.

My 13 year old son loved this, but for florida a bit to hot for summer fun. Very realistic looking.
