Feeker Waterproof Outdoor Wide Brim Sun Hat, Fishing Hunting Hiking Sun Boonie Hat for Men & Women

I wanted a wide brim hat to wear while kayak fishing. The brim is great - nice and wide with plenty of protection - but the elastic in the headband is weak and will not keep the hat on in a gentle breeze. Yes, it has a neck cord you can cinch down to keep the hat on, but I do not like the feel of the cord against my face - rather just have a hat that will stay on in normal winds.

The sun is finally here! With the weather warming up I'm able to take the top off and the doors of my Jeep Wrangler, but I needed protection for my head, face, and shoulders. Typed it in on Amazon and this wide brim boonie hat popped up. Measured my head with a tape measure that came to 22 inches so ordered the size Large which fits perfectly snug. The sides button up which I like and top can open up if it gets to hot. Have received a couple "nice hat" comments so people dig it. Just ordered another one for a back up. This hat did the job! we were planning to visit Olympic National Park and so I wanted to be certain I had a rain hat. Used it while walking through the rain forest there and it was exactly what I needed. But I also used it when we went whale watching off the coast of Oregon. We were in a 6 passenger zodiac and was I ever glad I had this hat; it rained like crazy the last 20 minutes of the ride back in. I was soaked, except for my head! Even my raincoat gave out! Highly recommend it.

I love the concept-one hat for sun or rain, but this is definitely not waterproof. Water drips right through the "waterproof" crown attachment. The attachment is little more than an extra shade and wind buffer. I'll keep it and try spray waterproofing the top, but that won't be as good as if the crown piece was truly made to be waterproof. I'd give it 5 stars if it was. Fits my 7-5/8 head fine.

Don't be fooled by the picture. The brim is huge and floppy. Made me look like a fruit loop. Wasn't for me at all

Seriously love this hat! Never usually wear this.. always bring my straw one on trips. But it was annoying carrying it when not using it. This hat is super light, folds up hella easy and completely shades you from the sun! You can pull the top part off by unbuttoning it, and it has a mesh net.. small enough to block bugs and the sun! Plus it’s water proof! Tried it in the rain for a brief time.. and it works as expected!

Nice wide brim. The top layer fabric is removable by snaps. Ifs it really hot out you can remove the waterproof fabric and your head can breath through the mesh. The mesh still protects your head from The sun. Its a great sun/boating hat.

Got this as part of a Father's day gift for my husband to use outdoors for various activities. He uses it daily for everything from going to check the mail, when we're at the beach, when he's doing yard work, when it's pouring rain, and when we're hiking. He loves this hat!
