Sturdy construction, non slip design
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. This is a solid stand, it’s made of aluminum and does not fluctuate easily. It takes a pretty good amount of force to move it, it’s very sturdy. I love that it holds my laptop off the desk so I don’t have to lean forward, slouch, or constantly look down while working on my laptop. It has anti-skid pads on the bottom to keep it in place and on the top to keep the laptop secure and stable. It’s fully adjustable to whatever display you desire, it lifts up about 6” or so off the desk. The only thing I don’t like about this, is that my laptop vibrates while I’m trying to type on it. Great for viewing, scrolling, but not for typing.

Compact but sturdy laptop stand/riser
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. This is a nice lightweight designed laptop stand/riser. You have to use a little force to get it where you want, but once set it stays where you've set it. Great for your desk or even on top of a lap tray so it is easy to use your laptop in bed. It allows you to set a good viewing angle and ergonomic use of your laptop keyboard.

A little wobbly when I'm typing - *UPDATE* I take it all back....it's AWESOME!
Not quite as sturdy as I was hoping for, but not bad for the price. You pull it to set it to the desired height. There is no loosening and tightening, it just has tension and holds the new position. It's a good product to get you standing and give your laptop some height above a desk, but when I type on my laptop it shakes a little.*UPDATE*Yes, it still shakes a little when I type, but I've gotten used to it and realize I was using it all wrong. I made it flat like a desk top at first. The real benefit is if you hyperextend your laptop display and place at a 45 degree angle on the laptop stand. Then, you can have the display at eye level and be typing at an angle also. It is a GREAT solution to maintaining upright posture and it feels better on my wrists when I'm typing too.

Flexible Height Adjustment is easy
I have a 2012 era MacBook Pro, much heavier than todays. Yet the stand held the weight with no problem. I was able to move it up and down to the exact position I wanted between two big monitors to great a 3 display array. This was the desired result. It folds up to a size that I can fit it in my carry bag. It was a little heavier than I expected but it is very sturdy. Very satisfied, especially if you are mobile, no fixed position stand can complete.

Sturdy, compact and portable!
I have been using some cardboard boxes to level my laptop's screen with the screen on my dell 24" monitor. I wanted to give this product a try, and well, it exceeded my expectations. I was actually expecting a light metal frame with easy open and close action. But nope, this is actually pretty solid and you need to apply some force to open it, which is a good thing!I have a 13" laptop and it fits pretty well on the base. I can extend the stand all the way and can type with minimal shudders. I'm not sure how a 15" or bigger laptops would accommodate, but this product should be good enough for 13-14" laptops.

Fitted for my needs
I found this just in time when I started feeling strains on my neck by using my 15 inch MacBook Pro for extended time. I don't like external monitors as I want to keep my desk as clean as possible and want to just focus working on one thing at a time. Then I found this stand. It raises the laptop to a level that is horizontal to my vision. No more burying my head and straining my neck. The construction is great and the color matches to my silver MacBook Pro so well. The stand is sturdy and very lightweight. It takes a bit effort to adjust because the arms are so tight, but I think it's forgivable because it needs to provide a stable support.

Happy customer!
I am in loooove with this laptop stand! I use it to elevate my silver macbook pro and I'm pleased to report that the colors match PERFECTLY.This stand folds up and is super lightweight so I can easily stuff it into my backpack or tote bag and take it around wherever I go. Do keep in mind that this stand does NOT flatten down completely. At its flattest its about the thickness of a ~400 page hardcover book. The silicone pads are great for keeping my laptop secure. There are additional silicone pads on the bottom of the stand to keep it from sliding around on my desk. The hinges are strong and do not collapse under the weight of my laptop. Overall its extremely sturdy and well constructed.I'm super happy with this purchase! Finally I can say GOODBYE to the days of hunching over with a forward neck tilt to look at my screen. Once I find a decent wireless keyboard/mouse combo my ergonomic setup will be complete! (Currently taking recommendations for a wireless keyboard/mouse that is fully compatible with macbook pro. Please let me know about any reputable brands that are worth looking into)

Great for some laptops...not all.
To start the stand is well build and sturdy.Goes up and down with no problems. Good quality all around. Now keep in mind it may not be comfortable for all laptops. If your keyboard is close to the edge, instead of using laptop keyboard i would use a usb keyboard and mouse. Also big laptops may not fit comfortably. Tried with a 15 inch and a 17inch. 15 inch worked eprfectly. 17 inch was a older bulkier model and didnt fit so great. In general does what is suposed to just be aware of your device size and what is comfortable for u.
