Fonio is an interesting grain and one more people should try. Flavor is very mild and not much texture. I found some recipes on the Internet and they worked out well. Cooked as a breakfast cereal, it reminds me of cream of wheat, and, for that reason, my wife didn’t like it. I have stomach problems and fonio, not only digested easily, it kept me full for much longer than other cereals I normally eat. It’s quick to prepare as well, as it doesn’t need to soften during cooking, just swell up. A single serving takes about 10 minutes including boiling the water (or milk).

The fonio taste wonderful. It is really priced for its taste. A little bet goes a long way. I'll buy it again

This grain is delicious. If you enjoy cream of wheat or farina, you will like this grain also. More importantly it is much more healthy than those other cereal grains. I will continue to purchase this product.

this actually doesnt have enough flavor for my taste. there was a tremendous excitement about it and i am sorry not to join in.
