Silicone Lid for the Kitchen

I love Basic Haus silicone lids! They are the best quality silicone lids that I have ever used and the convenient hanging loop allows me to keep the lids hanging on the side of my kitchen cabinet within easy reach. Their lids clean up so easily either by a quick handwash or in the dishwasher. I bought the whole round set (the only one I’ve ever seen that includes a really large round size) a while ago and when I saw this rectangular lid I knew immediately that I wanted to add it to my collection! Thanks for such a high quality product BasicHaus!

uI gave this as a Christmas gift. When the gift was opened, I was very pleased to see how well it was made.

Love this, works great!!! Only problem I have is it will not fit a standard size cake pan:(

We cook bacon on our Nordicware bacon rack in the microwave. That style of bacon rack does not come with a cover, and for 38 years we have had to cover the bacon with white paper towel to keep it from spattering the microwave. We had been looking for a microwaveable bacon rack cover, and the Basic Haus Rectangular Silicone Lid fits perfectly! It allows the bacon to cook evenly in the microwave, withstands the high temperature of the bacon rack with the hot grease, allows the steam to escape rather than building up under the cover, and washes clean easily. We love it, and we wish we had found it sooner.

The quality seems to be fine. It has ample thickness and keeps its shape. It will work nicely for most casserole dishes as long as contents are not even or higher than top of dish which otherwise the lid will touch. I initially bought this to use in my microwave as the dimensions should have fit since my microwave has a 14" turntable with a 15" interior. However due to my microwave interior being rounded and this lid is rectangular, the edges keep "catching" as the table turns so it won't work as hoped. It was too late to send back so I have the option of trimming it (not sure if it will render it useless at that point) or just keep it to use in my oven. Overall, good for oven, not workable for most microwaves. Bummer.

Great product. It is priced right. My husband bought it and he is ignorant of pan sizes so it doesn't fit my 9 x 13 pans. This does not detract from the product.

Very versatile. Fits all my pots but doesn’t really fit my 9x13 casserole dish. Allows a bit of air in on one side no matter how carefully I adjust it. Definitely stands up to heat well. Cleans easily. Love that I can use it for any pot and most baking dishes without having to search for the right lid for each item.

Great product easy to use! I plan on buying another for my mom!
