A "must have" for your feline friends
I bought this for my injured rescued kitten because he loves to hide. It is so cute, and a perfect size for kittens to adult cats. Super soft and very well made! I can just shake tracked litter off it, or wipe it with a paper towel!

Our cat loves this hut
This was my second time purchasing this hut. Our cat absolutely loves it. The price makes it easy to justify a new one when the current one starts looking rough. I absolutely recommend.

Inexpensive, attractive, and functional
My three girls were initially curious about this cozy den, but didn't stay in it long until I added a drop of valerian extract in the center of the pad (valerian smells like a vile combination of musty basement and funky feet - a little goes a long way - but most cats love it more than catnip). The bottom is only a thin piece of material and will need to be placed on a firm surface for proper support. The cushion is only about 1/2" thin, which some cats prefer, but if yours prefers something more cushy, you'll need to add supplemental cush. However, this item is relatively small (about 18" square) and innocuous in appearance. Dispite its size, there is plenty of room for my average sized cats (~10 lbs). Larger animals over 20 lbs will have trouble fitting (note that cats often prefer a tight fit, especially in cold rooms as it's easier to keep smaller spaces warm with just body heat).I will post an update when I wash the cushion as this is where most of these pet beds fail. That said, for the moment I recomend this little den as it is inexpensive, attractive, and functional.WASHING UPDATEI have washed the pad (not the entire hut) twice since purchase. Both times I used a normal cycle and let it circulate freely in the wash tub. However, I used the shortest wash time (I have 3 settings) and did not let it run the whole cycle: I use an older model washer where the final spin cycle kicks into overdrive to spin out every last drop of water, so I skipped this part thinking it might permanently crease the foam pad.During agitation the foam padding gets folded up inside the covering (this worried me the first time). But after spinning out the water I was able to unfold it fairly easily, making sure all the corners lined up. The ticking stayed sewn and so far does not show any signs of stress (unlike another cushion which was more expensive and exploded in the wash tub...). I let it air dry indoors instead of using the dryer since the entire thing is of man-made material (was afraid the heat would damage it); it's so thin that it took less than 4 hours (depending on ambient humidity). So far it's worked great for me and my girls (although they still need the valerian to entice them inside - go figure) and seems to have lots of washes left in it. YMMV, of course.

Perfect for cat that gets cold!
I have a senior cat that doesn't keep enough weight (insulation) on her to stay warm in the A/C. So even though she has many soft beds, they are all somewhat open to the breeze from the ceiling fan, and she Houdini's out of cat clothes. Sigh. I worry about her.Welp, this little lightweight bed has solved this problem and it is her favorite night time sleeping spot. It's soft, and because it has just the right size opening, it stays warm inside, yet allows her to feel she can see everything. Also, I can turn it so that the opening is pointed away from the fan breeze! The little cushion inside it is removable and I have damp sponged it a few times just to keep it fresh.I sometimes put it next to me at night, with the opening facing me, so we can see each other when we wake up during the night. Silly I know, but you might like this too. ;)

Smaller than the picture
I returned because it was too small for my dog, but it’s cute as soft and stands up very well. It’s still worth five stars. I have a toy poodle that weighs 6.5 pounds.

Is your Cat Too Cool for THIS!?
I placed this little blue cat tent right outside of my bedroom door (so she could see in, and what was going on in the hallway.) My cat is probably just weird, but she LOVED this thing for the first couple of months (I even ordered another one for the living room- she loved it also!).NOW, all of a sudden she doesn't use either one any more!

My cats love these!
I have two cats, a "normie" and a "fattie" and they both love these little private spaces. They were both crawling into boxes in front of my wood stove, and I decided to treat them with their own little "caves." I loved that these came in a two-pack, and now there's no attempt to crowd into the same space just because the other cat is in there. There is a soft, padded insert for the bottom, which makes it easy to clean - just pull it out and clean off whatever cat hair has accumulated. I doubt they'd do well in the wash, but you could definitely hand wash the insert if you needed to. Love these!

The cats actually like it!
Ours cats are the type that love using boxes more than beds we buy them, but I took a chance on this one hoping to find one I could use behind me while I work so she feels included. Worked like a charm. Even when I brought it the the living room she got in even faster! You can see she has eschewed the cardboard box she was sitting in all last night for it. I have ordered a second one lol, one for my office (first photo) and one for the living room so the other cat can use one 😂 I did follow the directions that came with it first which involve not using it for 48 hours as it expands from its vacuum packing. Easy to follow instructions but if you aren’t careful you might miss the paper they are on!
