It would work, but do yourself a favor and go for a two fan card. I bought a new one of these about a year ago, and it ran at 85C and had to throttle itself to do that. The benchmark speed of the card was only 10000 when it should have been 11000, so it was easy to see that it was auto-throttling at 85C by design. If you carefully read the reviews, making sure that you are reading a review about this card and not the 1660 Super Dual card from Asus (the reviews are mixed together for some reason), you will see that this card just has a bad heat sink and runs way too hot. I immediately returned the one I bought after I confirmed the reveiws I had read. Best bet is a good two fan gtx 1660 super 6 GB or a two or more fan gtx 980 ti 6GB or gtx 1070 8GB. Those will give you very similar performance, but actually say 10% better...

Don't buy this card. It overheats in a good case. I tested one and had it in the mail a few short hours later for return. A good card for a smallish case is a zotac gtx 1070 mini. It's about 6.5 inches long (measure from the back of the case at the pci-e slot to see if there are any obstructions) and more powerful than the 1660 by a good amount. For that card, you will just need one 6 pin adapter from the power supply and then a 6 to 8 pin adapter, which sells for about $10. As long as your PSU is 400w, you should be fine. The 1070 uses 150 watts peak for comparison. I have one of these 1070s in a Lenovo. It's great...

Yes, however: 1) the video card requires power via an additional 8-pin PCIe cable from your power supply. 2) the card might not fit into the computer's case.
