We have the ear thermometer and it is the niftiest thing! I love that you connect it to an app and it will keep track of the last time it was used, what the temp was, who it was used for, what their symptoms are, and suggests care options. I feel like I get an accurate reading each time.Having a sick kid or being sick yourself can be stressful and this eases some of those details that can easily be forgotten (last time temp was taken and what it was, the last time meds were taken, etc.) and displays them in a timeline in the app.The app is easy to use and keeps everything in one place and is sorted by family member. You can add notes, reminders, a diagnosis, medications, and symptoms. It also tells you what illnesses are going around in your area, if you choose to opt in on that feature. You can also add your child’s school if they participate in using the app.Even if you don’t use the app, this is still a great tool to have in your medicine cabinet! It is absolutely worth every penny!

Fantastic, elegantly designed "smart" thermometer. Not only takes temperatures quickly and accurately (and easily via the ear), but also is paired with an intuitive, value-added app! The app is super easy to use (and setup) and allows you to create profiles for each family member, diagnose illness, get recommendations and take action on next steps, track temperature/illness over time, track medication, etc. 10 out of 10 and would definitely recommend. Now that Kinsa is here, I don't think I will ever buy a "non-smart" thermometer again!

This is my second thermometer by this brand. I have the oral/axillary thermometer ABs it’s amazing. Accurate, reliable, synced to my app. It’s great! I have a 2 yr old and I wanted to use this cause it’s easier than an axillary temp and he’s too young to do an oral temp. It synced up easy with my phone but when I felt my son get a fever, it was reading anywhere from 99-102. Way too big of a range. I’m a nurse and I know how to use a thermometer. Thankfully I had their axillary thermometer. One star for this one, five stars for the axillary/oral version!

Whoah! Even after watching a video on Kinsa, I did not realize how informative this thermometer really is. You can create a profile for each family member and store temperatures and symptoms for easy reference at a doctors visit. It will even remind you when it’s time to give more fever reducer. In a quick, 1 second tympanic reading, I get peace of mind with accuracy and state of the art knowledge with the user friendly app. It provides location indicators so I know if an outbreak of illness is in our area. Try it, you won’t be disappointed! I am a nurse and have used many thermometers over the years and this by far, blows them all away!! My only regret is that this wasn’t around when my kids were little. Don’t hesitate, order this thermometer!!!

Gotta say I love these products from Kinsa. I’m my Mom’s main caretaker and when she was here she misplaced the Kinsa oral thermometer. I panicked because if she got sick I would want another Kinsa. In early 2020 it was impossible to find any Kinsa products. Ordered this before we found the oral thermometer (Mom has dementia) and decided a backup wouldn’t hurt.She has visiting nurses and they love that I can show her daily temps for them to compare to their temp reading. The read automatically (blue tooth/WiFi) ports to the phone app even goes by age, person, and if suggesting to see a medical expert. Just love the record keeping for her well being. Great for all ages and needs!

The Kinsa ear thermometer meets my needs, it is quick, easy, and accurate. I am satisfied with the product.I rated 4/5 easy to use only bc you have to use the app, which is easy but it would be nice if not using the app was also an option.I rated 3/5 for value because this item was price gouged- I needed it during the start of the pandemic and it was one of the only seemingly reliable thermometers available under $100. I bought it for $75, prior to pandemic and on target website it sells for $35-40 (but target is out of stock). I was desperate bc I work in healthcare but couldn’t wait until I get to work to take my temps daily before my shift

This is the second one I've had. The first one started to read very low, though I kept the sensor clean. The warranty is way over on the first one. Let's hope that the new one lasts longer.The new one works great!

Now that kiddos are older, it’s soooo much easier to take a temp in the ear instead of rectally. Love that the screen is backlit for the late night temp checks in the dark. Easily switch between C & F. Syncs with the app. No silly disposable plastic covers to lose or buy more. Only improvement would be a little light on the end to see the ear for late night checks when kiddo is asleep and lights are out.Overall, great job Kinsa!
