The bolt is beautifully made and looks amazing, it is very eye catching. Mounting was fairly straightforward however the screws that came with it weren't of the same high quality as the bolt and consequently the grooves in the screw would sear until you couldn't screw it in. I did try deeper and wider pilot drilling but too wide and it wasn't firmly mounted.

I got the 100mm (Brass) door bolts, they are a nice design and really look good on my barn door.The bolt feels really solid and robust, the only thing that lets it down a little are the screws so makesure you countsink the holes first.Still like them and I would definitely recommend :)

The bolt section falls to bits every time you use it absolute ridiculous design fault ,joiner started laughing when he daw them and refused to fit them

Looks Great. Just what I needed and wanted for a wooden window in our living room BUT one of the screws - the most important one which holds the sliding part in place - was missing on one. Now I have to pray I can find one at a local hardware store. I do wish the companies would check that all the parts were included in the package before they ship. I can't afford to return the product as I live on an island off Portugal. And these were not cheap.
