I bought this for the Texas Renaissance Festival and it was perfect. I got several compliments on it. It's very good quality for the price.I was worried it would be too big, but size Small was great for me. I'm 5'3" and 112lbs, usually size 0-2. There's no zipper on the dress, so a little tough to get in and out of, but luckily was not a problem. Also it was a little long if I had wanted to wear flats, but it was the perfect length with two-inch shoes.The matching headband was a fantastic touch. I have a small head and it was a little tight, but didn't bother me as long as I wore it toward the top of my head.And truth be told I wore a push-up bra with it which helped complete the overall look for me!!

When we ordered it, we asked for a small, because we had tried it on at the local Halloween stores. The small was a great fit. When it arrived, I could tell already that it was longer than it should've been. We tried it on, and it fit like a M-L. The tag said S, but no way was this a small. Had to return and buy from a Halloween store. Ended up paying $20 more than I thought I would.

This came so fast! I ordered it yesterday, got it today. I ordered a size Medium. I usually wear a Small (Loft, The Limited, Banana Republic) or a Medium (Ann Taylor, The Limited) at most stores. I figured a Large would be too big since I never, ever buy a large. The Medium fits - but JUST fits. The arms fit but felt snug. Not to the point where I need to return it, but I felt that if I were a pound heavier the Large would have been better. The chest fit well, but again, if I were bustier, the Large would have been better. If you are a D+ cup, consider sizing up. Also, the chest is pretty open, so I'd suggest a balconette style bra in a nude color. The waist fit fine. I have a 27 inch waist and wear a size 6 in most brands (e.g., Ann Taylor, The Limited, Banana Republic, 4 in Loft). I am 5'6" and I think the arm length was just right. If I were any taller, the arms would be short. Length of the dress was at the top of my shoes.The costume itself seems nice quality for a costume. It didn't itch and the fabric was a decent weight. The belt is sewn on. I thought it was a sash that I could adjust, but it is not. The head piece is teeny. My plan is use bobby pins to get it to stay on my head. There is no way it fits on an adult human head, as shown in the stock photo. The head piece would fit like that on my average height 9 year old. That's how small it is - child sized.

This is so pretty! I loved it! It looked almost grey on my computer, but it's blue (grayish blue). The quality is costume quality, but geez, it was only $23!! I loved the sleeves and the trim. The headpiece's seam was visible, but only up close and seriously, it's a costume. What a deal! I ordered a small and it fit fine. It's a bit stretchy. So for sizing- I'm 5'5" and about 128 lbs. none of that is muscle, though. I have a tummy and no butt or hips. I wear a 4 at Old Navy and American Eagle. I was very happy with this costume. I felt so pretty. :)After reading other reviews, I'd like to comment that mine didn't shed fibers at all. Like, not at all. I wore a normal bra (but my costume was a small- perhaps the wide neckline is much wider on larger sizes). I had no trouble getting it on- no, there's no zipper, but it's stretchy. Also, I had no trouble with the headpiece. It was a teeny bit misshapen out of the package, but not bad. And it sat on my head all night, without slipping, exactly where I put it. I didn't use bobby pins or anything. My hair is long and fine, and even when I tried it on before curling and adding product, the headpiece seemed secure. I'm sorry the other reviewer had trouble with hers.Honestly, I didn't want to take the costume off at the end of the night. How often do you get to dress like a princess?!

The costume is very pretty. Had a few complaints. 1. The headpiece is VERY tight. It cannot fit well over you head. I had to pin it on top in my hair. 2. The material is thin polyester. Not very good to wear in the colder weather. 3. The belt/sash is not separate. It is sewn into the dress...Horrible decision! They separated the blue material to put in the belt. This made the material very weak and easily destroyed. I got 2 holes on that seam in just 1 wear. Other than that... it was a good costume.

This costume is EXACTLY as pictured! The fabric is a velour type material, which I ironed with a warm iron (on the inside) and it took out all of the shpping wrinkles. To put it's size into perspective: I am 5'6", 165lbs, wear a size 10-Long pants, Med/Large shirts, 34D bra... I ordered the medium and it was perfect! The sleeves were slightly long, which I prefer, and the dress was long enough to cover my shoes (ballet flats), and just stretchy enough that I could breathe AND it hugged all of my curves very nicely. All in all, this is a wonderful costume that I got MANY compliments on, including "You must have paid a fortune for this" and "Can I borrow this for my wedding?"... which is funny, because I wore it to a Masquerade wedding that was held on Halloween.

I really love this dress. It's pretty and feminine, although I wish I paid less than $40 for it, which is a little pricey for the costume- the material is pretty nice, but it could be a bit more flattering in the hip area- I would have liked the red sash to be detatchable instead of sewn into the dress. But I do like the design a lot- it looks very regal and the colors are lovely- it will be perfect for Halloween! I bought a size small and I'm 5'4 and 130 lbs. I also love the headpiece. I forgot to include it in my pictures, but it's quite pretty and fit my round head perfectly!
