Great Value!
I bought this chair for my husband since he loves MCM chairs. This is a great replica. Unlike other reviews, my husband set up this chair quickly. Upon purchasing the chair, the seller sent instructions and a youtube video. My husband only used the one sheet instructions I have included in the review. This chair works perfectly for me since I am 5'4 and my head rest comfortably on the head rest. As for my husband, he is 5'10 and the headrest in low so he has no neck support when on the chair unless he scooches down. I believe this is how the chair was designed and my husband knew before hand about the headrest since I believe the authentic version is made the same. The lounge chair is really low from the floor (approx 15 inches) which was already known in advance. We are happy with our purchase.

Instruction to assemble
Just put it together without instructions. 2 days later received the instructions via email. I’ve added the instructions in the photo above.

Check the scale of the chair to other furniture in your room
Love the style of the chair, well made, and well packed, could have used some instruction on how to assemble (thank goodness for Ytube). I wish the overall scale of the chair was larger, closer to today’s furniture scale. The chair is the correct scales for when it was design but I wish it was bigger. I have check other manufactures of this chair and they are all about the same scale/size. My 12 year old son loves it and it fists him perfectly.

GREAT... as long as you know what you're getting
I spent a lot of time looking at replica Eames Lounge Chairs, and this one seemed to strike the best balance between quality and affordability. Replicas such as the $1k+ MHD version are likely better in some regards, but I feel like if you're going to spend 4 figures on a chair, you may as well just get the real thing from Herman Miller and call it a family heirloom.Shipping was fast—I ordered late Monday and got it Friday. Assembly took about 45 minutes. For attaching the seat to the back, having a 2nd person will make a world of difference. Why they don't include the assembly printout in the box is beyond me, but another reviewer uploaded it, so whatever. Make sure you tighten series of screws together gradually, and don't overdo the tightening—the chair doesn't need to survive atmospheric reentry.I don't know how much sense it makes to review the Eames Lounge Chair or any replica like just another chair. You get it mostly because it's a universal design icon. It's not uncomfortable, but it's no Lazboy. I'm 6'0 and the back doesn't support my neck or head unless I'm slouched into the chair, which works ok, especially with a pillow in the chair. The real Eames comes in a tall version, which is 2" higher. After sitting in this one for a while, I'm convinced the extra height would make a big difference. Considering that the replicas that come in a tall version start at $1,500, I almost regret not getting one, but not quite. I REALLY wish this one came in a tall version. I'd have happily paid another $200 for those extra 2"I'm no leather expert, but the chair looks, feels, and smells like nice leather to me. Overall, the fit and finish is good, and I feel like you get a lot for your money in this chair. As others have mentioned, it does make a slight creaking noise when you get in and out of it. If you're looking for something in which to nap or binge Netflix, there are better options out there. If you appreciate the iconic design of the Eames, and don't want to sell any organs to have one in your space, this is possibly your best option.

fake Eames chair
yes its a fake...and its harder than a real one. I hope it will soften with use. It came with all parts, and undamaged. I put it together alone....if you are shopping for a real Eames - they come in 2 sizes - regular and tall. and although this fake chair has the measurements of the tall genuine Eames chair - it is more like the regular chair. it is a bit smaller than expected. On the tall real Eames chair my head hits the pillow...with this fake on - the pillow hits back of my neck. you need to scrunch to get head support. But considering the real one is $6-7, 000 -- this is ok.

Just fine for tall people, and...
So, my wife and I are review readers. We did our homework on this chair and read that a lot of people were pointing out that the chair sits really low to the ground and that it may not be comfortable for taller people. I just want to share that I'm 6'6" and I fit just fine. It's very comfortable and I have no problems getting in and out of the chair, despite it being a little bit lower to the ground than a normal lounge chair.Like other reviewers have noted, our chair did not come with instructions, but my personal opinion is that you should be able to figure it out. It's not difficult to look at the pieces and tell which ones go where, and for those of you who need a little extra help, there is an instructional video that a product reviewer taped and uploaded to Youtube. My only complaint is that the cushions are a little firm, but our chair is brand new and will likely become more comfortable in time.Looks amazing! See photo.

You won't be disappointed.
I'm very particular and will admit to being skeptical at first about buying this chair. After having it for 6 months... I can confidently say I'm glad I made the purchase. I think you will be, too. I have zero complaints about the leather. I'd go so far as to say it's the most comfortable chair I've ever sat in. Only complaint is the chair did squeak for a while but that has since subsided. For someone who's hesitant to spend $6,000 on a chair or has pets that are sure to make their mark... this is a great alternative. Pictures soon to come.
