When you are ready, put two to three stones in your glass and add your favorite beverage (enough to just cover them). Within moments your drink will be cool and ready to drink. Correct for temperature, not for taste
It does bring the whiskey to a pleasant temperature, but I suspect it gives it a "stoney" taste, even after we rinsed them.

Bought them as a Christmas gift. They work well, but they don't make ur drink cold, they are just chilling stones. They might work best if drink is already somewhat cold.

Not the best option for enjoying whiskey
These stones are decent, but they are so small that they hardly chill the whiskey (more like they only drop it a few degrees below room temperature). What's worse is your whiskey is back to room temperature within ten minutes. Personally, I prefer to sip slowly and enjoy my prized beverage rather than swill it so this is a problem for me. I occasionally enjoy my drinks neat, but usually I like to have a splash of water. If you like your drink neat, these might take your drink down a couple degrees for a short while. But if you actually want to chill your whiskey buy some 2 inch ice spheres, they will not only effectively chill your drink, but your drink will stay colder longer and the ice takes so much longer to melt than regular cubes that you can enjoy your precious brown water without it being overly diluted!

Too small size
I thought the rock size would be bigger....like glacier size...they do the work well...but I think the glacier ice works better with scotch/whiskey.The rocks are good with other drinks that you would like to keep cool.

Not what I expected
It really is a waste of money but a nice collection to show what it's suppose to do when you have quest over.

Great idea
But they are not effective enough to keep a drink cold. They are only good for 5 minutes using a tumbler glass and then they are not cold enough to chill anything. I still use them since I spent the money but if I had to do it all over again....I wouldn't.
