VP Racing 5.5 Gallon Motorsport Container White and Deluxe Hose

Great product

There are three important features these containers have which make it way better than the containers available at stores. First is the flexibility hose which is nice because I can have the hose inside the cars fill tube before I even flipped the canister over, makes for a clean non spilling transition 😅 Second is the breather on top which I can't believe they got rid of on the typical red containers. Having that breather on the canister make for a quick transition of fluids without having the canister breathing on you sometimes causing a mess. Third is the fact that the bottle is white, which let's you see through it better, making you not over shoot on filling it up or while pouring it into your vehicle it helps you to not tip it/angle it to much that fluid comes out the breather. Overall best canister I have purchased.

Was skeptical about ordering after reading reviews about them leaking. Ordered anyway. It leaked the first time I used it. It came with the o-ring at the top of the threads on the jug and that was the problem. After taking the o-ring off the jug and installing it into the top inside of the cap, no more leaks. Don't know why it couldn't have been like that from the factory, but it works now.

Needed a jug to use for racing fuel purchased at the track. Officials test the fuel, so I wanted to make certain that I did not use a container that may have any substance that was left over from the gas station (Ethanol is not allowed). The is a bulky gas can, and the hose and connector is very sturdy and rigid. Hose is definitely a high-grade hose, with good wall thickness. Vendor in which I purchased this container from shipped it in a box that was well packed, but buyers be careful as the packaging may be the original VP packaging, and if not careful, and you use a box knife, you can potentially cut the gas canister. Doubt you'll cut a hole into the can, but may put a good scratch.

I'll keep this review short... This gas can is leaps and bounds better than all the environmentally sensitive cans you see on the market now. I understand the need to limit the amount of fuel spilled, but they're actually counterintuitive! I spill fuel all the time with those plastic, gimmicky latches and get extremely frustrated. This can works as expected and as it should. I haven't spilled any fuel either. Additionally, while it's a 5 gallon can, you can get about 6 gallons in it.

5 gallon gas can with air vent valve and pour hose with filter to catch debris before it gets into your tank! Great can, works perfect for my two stroke pre mixed gas. Good seals, so it reduced smell of gas much better than my old can. Recommend for sure!

This is a super strong fuel container. All top quality. The cap is cut out with a bring seal that will not fall out and over time if needed replaced can be purchased at any parts store. The pour hose is also thick high quality with a positive seal thread on cap and a screen. The pour hose could be replaced easy also if needed or lengthened with hose from the parts house if needed. Clear large fill amount markings in liters and gallons. Handle placement is perfect and accommodates any size hands. I love how thick it is, it can handle some serious abuse. I totally recommend the fuel container.

Holds gas very well. Holds either 5 gallons of 2stroke or 4stroke gas. I guess you could really put 5 gallons of anything in it. The wide opening makes transferring the vp pails of fuel to the jug pretty easy, funnel is not required if you're careful.

I was hesitant to buy this for storing ethanol and fuel blends because of the disclaimer that says "This is not a portable fuel container" but many people recommended it for just that purpose. I filled it up entirely with pure ethanol and I add about a liter or two of it to every tank of gas on my tuned Audi S4. I was worried the measurements on the back of the container would be hard to read, but that's not a problem at all. The nozzle is high quality and very flexible, easy to pour the right amount into my vehicle tank. I have no doubt this container will last me a while!

This makes mixing 2 stroke fuel very easy , can has marks for different levels of fuel so it makes doing the math easy . Its very well made and the fill hose has a filter inside it which is a bonus .
