I’ve been self tanning for years. By nature, self Tanner’s are drying to the skin, especially liquid and mousse tanner with bronzer. The tanner can leave the skin crepey with dry lines a secondary lotion can’t get rid of. This tanner is a moisturizing lotion and causes almost no drying at all. There is no instant bronzer, so no mess rubbing off on sheets, clothes and towels. The odor when the tan processes is VERY low. The result is an even, dark (not too dark) tan. No dried out skin! I’m 60 now and need all the moisture I can get. I’m 4 days in and the tan looks fantastic. The only issue for some is it does take about 10 hours to totally process into a full tan. It’s really no different than other tanners, but those others have bronzers that immediately give you color as opposed to waiting to see development. This is the best self tanner I’ve ever used. Not the very cheapest, but well worth the price. I can get two, full bodied tans from one bottle and they should last about 10 days plus each time. I applied my tannerwith those disposable medical gloves to avoid staining the palms of my hands. I took the gloves off and finished applying to the top of my hands with tissue. Be careful of nail cuticles and rough patches of skin as they will tend to over absorb the tanner. I finishe to tanning application by using baby wipes to remove any tanner from between fingers and toes, bottoms of feet (also use just slightly on the bottom sides of feet for natural look. It’s a little hard to gauge this as you can’t see the tan before processing, but “clean up” needs to be done while application is fresh. Lastly, you can use a thin coat of Vaseline as a barrier to protect areas you don’t want tanned (like cuticles, etc.

I don't usually use self tanners, but I was getting so so pale. I decided to try doing it a several months ago. I got a different lotion that you put on everyday which became a bother but I liked the little color I got. I went looking on google for self tanner that was cruelty free (so was the other one I used) that would give a really brown not orange look. So many people talking of this one, soooo I tried it and I'm so glad amazon had it. I've used it 5 times now, I put it on every 4 days. I'm very happy that I don't have to use it everyday but WOW the tan, it's like real I mean it looks so good. The smell is like coconut to me, not sure if that is what others smell, but to me it is. I rub it in until there is no more white and I use it in the morning after a shower. The reason for that is I live in a very very humid area and I hate going to bed with that lotion feel, sheets stick to you and it's just uncomfortable and I don't like it. I do let it dry for the 15 minutes standing under a ceiling fan. I've had some get on a bra because I had to get going but other than that no issues whatsoever with bleeding onto my clothes or jeans or shorts or dresses, just a small amount on my bra lining. Wonderful stuff and worth it. I'm so very happy they are cruelty free or I'd never used it and found such a great product!

This tanning lotion is awesome! No joke. I’m so pale and this made me look so tan! The smell initially isn’t bad at first but as the days go on you only get the slightest tanning smell. If you know you know. But I do highly recommend this product. It works beautifully without streaking!!

I love this stuff! It works great. I apply about 1/2 hour before bed, and again in the morning before I apply my makeup. It is very moisturizing and leaves you with a natural glow. If you could see my Amazon order history you would see, I can’t live without it! I have used for about 2 years now, simply love it!

I have tried almost every lotion out there over the years thinking that someone will eventually get it all right in ONE bottle. To say I was crazy happy is a understatement! The first thing I noticed when I opened the tube was the smell, it took me back to sandy beaches and tropical drinks. Smells like coconuts and sugar! I love that the lotion itself isn’t colored, as I applied it felt like silk and was a smooth application. I do like to use my finger to apply, no mitt, ( I use a nail brush to scrub my hands after applying) and the reason is that it gives me a sense of the real quality and texture, as well as the smell that usually makes me toss it quickly. With this lotion, you will have no worries . It also didn’t stain my clothing, sheets, etc. NO orange glow with this, no one would never guess it was a sunless tanner. What I’ve noticed since using this everyday, and yes it sounds crazy, but it also has softened the wrinkling we all get on our neck. I’m in my 40’s and don’t have a huge amount of wrinkles, but I hate the few I have on my neck, but this is a miracle in a bottle, so to speak. I will always leave a honest review , doesn’t matter if it is good OR bad. As for myself I love everything about this🌴

This product was easy to use and I loved the kabuki brush I purchased along side it. I used the matching product for my body and it goes on slightly white which allows you to rub it in. I don't particularly care for smells in my products as that's usually just additive, but this one was nice. I did a small patch test on my knee for a few hours just to test any immediate reactions, but should have waited the full 24 hours, because after applying and waiting the full 24 hours, my whole face and body (with the body lotion tanner) are covered in hives and raised bumps. The final color is nice as is the consistency, my body just rejected this formula, likely whatever natural/organic ingredients are used for fragrance. I've used most other ingredients like the various oils in my other products and find natural fragrances to be sensitizing to my skin. Oh well! I hope your skin loves it because it's otherwise a good product.

I purchased the medium too dark. It is by far the best self tanner I have ever used! No streaking, no orange, no self tanner smell, just a beautiful dark tan. For my face, I put a small amount on all over and then blended it with a blush brush. I also used it on my legs. I mixed it into my moisturizer because I have very dry skin and as you can see, it still came out beautiful. This is about one day after one application.
