About five (5) years ago I purchased a 200W LED lightbulb from Amazon. Who else? Nevertheless, when it arrived I couldn’t believe my eyes. The bulb’s size was about three (3) times the size of a normal lightbulb be it incandescent or an LED. The lamp’s harp would not fit around the head of the lightbulb. So I started looking for an oversized harp. I searched all over the Internet and no dice. None were to be found. So it was either purchase a 150W LED bulb which was the same size of a normal incandescent lightbulb or I could use this LED with mumps without a harp and let the lampshade sit at an angle as such where the silk shade touches the hot LED. Thankfully, the LED is not as hot as an incandescent bulb and as a result the LED caused no harm to the lampshade.I had this arrangement since I purchased the huge LED lightbulb in 2018. Recently, I decided to see if an LED 200W lightbulb was now made in the size of a regular incandescent lightbulb. Remember, the 200W LED did not come in the size I desired. But in 2024 it did. So I purchased it. It is as bright as the ‘bulb with mumps’ but more importantly it seems to be cooler and I am thankful I saved the harp and the lock or I would be purchasing more items today.This 200W LED lightbulb is super great. The light emitted is perfectly balanced with yellow light rather than blue. Because it’s physically smaller than my ‘bulb with mumps’ it seems cooler to the touch and the lamp itself now looks like a lamp. My housekeeper told me last week that she was happy that she could clean the lamp without fear of doing something that would cause the whole lamp to break.This bulb is perfect for my uses and will be for you when and where you need a very bright light somewhere inside your home. If you purchase it, you will do so with confidence.

These LED lights are supposed to last for years. I believe dimmers must place some stress on LED lights. My last one, a GE, did not last as long as promised, but still lasted 7 or 8 years, I think. When it started flickering, I thought I’d try this brand. I can’t say how long it will last, but it looks good at the moment. I ordered 2, just in case. There’s no dimness, flickering or other sign of problem, so I recommend taking a shot on this bulb.

Great buy

For the 300 Watt Equivalent: This is a great, bright bulb. It's big, but not huge, and will probably fit most full-size lamps with typical shades. The emitted light is clean and not harsh the way some 5000K fluorescent can be.BUT, if it's on a circuit near a high-power device such as a laser printer or "gaming" computer, it flickers weirdly and annoyingly in a manner no other bulb I've used does, compact fluorescent, LED or incandescent. I have two of these bulbs, installed in different rooms in my house, and they both do it.Note: The lamps aren't in the same outlets, just the same breaker circuits as the devices; each lamp+device is on a different breaker circuit, so it's not an isolated issue.Normally, typical lights may dim slightly when a laser printer is used, but this is a different, MUCH more annoying issue because it's an actual varying flicker. What's worse, this happens when my computer does something that hits the graphics card, like a game or even "AI" photo/video editing. It's a Radeon RX 6700 XT on a Ryzen 7 1700X, with (I think) an 800 watt power supply, but I have to run burn tests to draw more than 350 Watts, as displayed on my UPS. While it's powerful, it's by no means some super powerful energy hog, or a mining rig. No other bulb (or anything else) has reacted to this or any other computer I've had, and since it's on a UPS with a voltage regulator, if it crashed the voltage, the UPS would react. I also have a monitor plugged into the same UPS, which works fine.I don't play lots of games, and I had to set the printer to go into sleep mode immediately after printing, because as it idles (switching fuser heating on and off), I get the flicker. I'm not yet sure if I'll ultimately get fed up and replace one or both of the bulbs.The flicker also makes me worry about longevity.

Have this in a lamp on my desk. Very bright and color is warm and perfect. Can't address longevity yet as it's only been several months of daily use but fingers crossed. Seems like the LED bulbs don't last nearly as long as advertised but still should get a few years from it.

I have two standup lights in my craftroom, that just were not cutting it. I bought this light bulb in the hopes that I would have better light. I just put the light bulb in and it brightens up every corner and even the closet...LOL. I would definitely recommend this light bulb to anyone want bright light. The room looked good to me, but unfortunately, now I can see the dust.

Not much to say, it's a large bulb, it if it fits for your use case it works well.Bought it two years ago, it's connected to a timer and runs 8am-10pm, and still working great.It doesn't seem to flicker, so if you're sensitive to that, that's a bonus.

This is a great bulb. It is very bright and works flawlessly. I highly recommend for anyone who wants a brighter work area or just wants the brightness of the summer sun in their home on a dark winters day.
