Terry Ludwig Handmade Soft Pastels 90 Greens

Terry Ludwig pastels are deep in color and soft in application and handling. In fact, their "Intense Dark" series is so deep that I consider them the optimum counterpoint to set off highlights, plus they are so soft that they stain my fingers as I apply them as if I had dipped my fingers in ink, so I wear gloves when I apply these. The colors are very rich and vibrant and are usually the last or 2nd-to-last layer of pastel I apply as they are so good its a shame to bury these colors under other layers. TL's pastels are part of my permanent pallet of soft pastels when I paint. Last, but best, the price per stick is often better than other comparable, high-quality pastels.
