Sept 2020: I made several accessories for our forest adventure playground. Only left a picture of a rope ladder but will add more later. This cord is sturdy and beautiful, yet soft to the hands while weaving and climbing. I’m sad that the smell went away after a couple of weeks. I left a few feet in my office drawers because the smell reminds me of the finest tea I have had while abroad.July 2021: I have made several more things with this hemp rope, all of those for exterior load-bearing uses in FL (subject to high temperatures and rain). Last week I made my third order and completed my kids’ swings and they are beyond exited. See picture. You can notice there is some give (the knots above the swing seats were against the wood but not anymore), but this give is expected from this as well as from other natural materias such as cotton.The older ropes around the playground continue to bear all their weight (ninja line, bridge/circus net support, stairs handrails, gymnastics bar support in between 2 trees) although they are now darker (maybe dirty) and knots that I had made in them are now impossible to undo (which was the purpose).Cutting through the 7/8” rope is an ordeal in itself, so I’m not sure if that review that says it broke is legit. I can use this rope to tow my full 600 lb capacity cart no issues.Lastly, I love the stressed look of all things I have made and will continue to use this rope for my kids playground/treehouse. I highly recommend it.

I used this to quiet the noise of a ladder rack on truck. If you wind it around the front bar of a ladder rack the 60 mph noise goes away.

Nice thick and strong rope! I used it to put up 1 swing in the yard and still have plenty left for another one some where. Looks cool and works great!

I built a wishing well and the rope for the item was the final touch. The rope is a great valve and well made (pun intended).
