Phifertex Standard Solids - Black

This was exactly what I needed for part of a cosplay I'm making, but it smells very strongly of rubber. For anyone buying this for cosplay/fursuit making, I recommend letting it air out for a few days before using it. Otherwise it's a really great mesh, holds paint well and can be hot glued or sewn easily. You get a lot of it for the price, too!

The product took longer to get because the company was backed up on orders. But the salesman was with me every step of the way with a speedy reply. And I want to say thank-you. The fabric is of good heavy material and was easy to work with on the sewing machine.

The actual replacement was way more work than I had anticipated. I’m not shy about hard work. I’m not part of the throw away world. I fix what is broken. We are using this "fabric" outside as a cover for our smallish deck. Our deck is on the west side of our house and thus gets the afternoon sun. That strong sunlight comes right in our kitchen through the sliding glass door. Without something covering the roof of the deck, it is blinding in the kitchen and can get hot in the afternoon. This fabric does the trick although we had to put two layers of the fabric up to do a really good job of blocking the sun. It also prevents most, not all, of the leaves from coming onto our deck from our neighbor's tree.

This is a great product. I have used much of it for making vinyl mesh bags as shown in the pictures attached, and it works perfectly. Has excellent "stand up" shaping.

Great seat cover material for recumbent bike seat frames. Holes in fabric make it a breeze for sewing. Holes also provide good ventiing when it's hot outside and drainage for when it rains. Cannot speak about durability as fabric has had only 1 summer of usage ; so far however,material has held up very well.

Nice. Going to use it for fursuit eyes but needs to be doubled-up for that otherwise too see through. Has a plasticy smell to it
