Exact replacement solenoid for 2016 Toro Time Cutter 4225, model 74721. This item came with unneeded flat contact fittings. Take them off and slide wires right down the threaded screw.Started right up. Hopefully, no more slowly turning key searching for that hair thin contact.A caution….. I just installed it and only tried it 3 or 4 times. I’ll update if it fails this summer.

It worked fine after I installed it, for a couple of starts. Thinking it was good I didn't try again for a few weeks because this time of year I only start my tractor to move it out of the way. After starting it a couple weeks later this solenoid stuck on and kept the tractor starter engaged after the engine was running. I had to frantically disconnect the battery to keep from damaging my tractor. Had I not been able to do that rather quickly, I suspect my tractor would have been seriously damaged or even worse, caused a fire in my barn. I contacted the seller but never received a reply. I would not recommend this contactor.

It works like a charm. Fits a toro time cutter 4235. Now that I replaced it and I still have the issue I guess I'm gonna work on this starter next :) Was a perfect slot fit,just different wire mount, but better. Just slid right on instead of being screwed in
