Saved me time and eliminated lipping
I started calling these "magic clips" after just a few tiles. I had already laid about 200 sq ft of high-price 6" x 36" porcelain tiles, without the clips, that took a long time due to lots of back buttering trying to eliminate the excessive lipping common to large format tiles on imperfect floors. I worked hard to get flat floors as part of my prep, but could only do so much. Also, tiles this large will never be perfectly flat. I would estimate that with the clips, it took me 1/2 as long to do the next 200 sq ft, and I had almost zero lipping. The guy at the tile store told me that the industry standard for acceptable lipping is the thickness of a credit card, which is about how well I did without the clips. Now that I've used the clips, I think credit card thickness lipping should be considered unacceptable and any pro should do much better. I found it interesting that the tile store guy told me that none of the local tile guys use any sort of clips or leveling products. They just get it as close as they can and take people's money for meeting industry standard (credit card thickness). They also use weights and other tricks that seem a bit archaic.A few tips: 1) I ended up putting the clips at the ends, even though the mfr doesn't recommend. I also put a clip at any "T" joint ( I staggered my pattern to look like wood) and about the mid-point of any tile. 2) If you need to stop at any point and the mortar will be dry when you restart, you need to hollow out a section of mortar where you will be putting a clip the next day. Choose the locations with some forethought. 3) looks like the clip itself will give you less than a 1/32 grout line, so you will still need to use spacers. I used 1/16. 4) A rubber mallet worked best for knocking out the clips in the morning.

First Time Shower Tile Install
I used these for my first large tiling project and they worked amazingly! I'm no tile expert but I feel like the clips helped eliminate lippage that would have otherwise been there. They are on the pricey side for just being little pieces of plastic but I just bought a second box! Highly recommend.

Overpriced and doesnt break away cleanly
They do pinch/snap closed easily without the use of a tool and level out the tiles, however, as you can see from the pics, they didnt break out cleanly. Getting the remnants out was very time consuming. I also used the wedge leveling system sold at Home Depot that did require a quick tool usage but was cheaper and broke out cleanly.

Project looks great no raised edges anywhere
I used these to install "wood plank" porcelain tile. After making certain the first row was level installation was fast, never had to "re-mud" a single tile. Project looks great no raised edges anywhere. Will never install tile again without using these.

would like a 'little' more force needed to snap off
Had several of them snap off during installation, would like a 'little' more force needed to snap off, and there were a few that didn't snap off cleanly, which caused me to have to cut them out with razor knife.

100% recommend.
Bought these a long time ago and then got stalled on our project, but once I finally got them out to use, they worked amazingly well. Our floor has almost 0 lippage. I was using the hardwood looking tiles, and these made it so simple. 100% recommend.

Did the job
Worked as expected, knocked one star off because some of them (about 1 out of every 25) were breaking off too high up. Had to go back, use a dremel to grind them out, then finish up with a dab of plaster.

This product did a good job but I still had a few tiles that did not level as expected. Also, when removing them after the thinset had cured some did not break at the base of the clip but more on the top making removal of the tab a real challenge.
