Thoroughly Impressive in Story and Art
Bears have a special place in my heart so I love it when I can find a children's book to share with my niece and nephews which feature a bear so I purchased it immediately. I don't even know how to explain how beautiful and amazing this book is. This is a work of art in word and, well actual art, that make it clear that the team who put this together put a lot of thought, care, effort and creativity into each and every page. This is a book meant for giving, sharing and passing down through generations. With both child and adult in mind, they cleverly made it striking and simple but at the same time there are so many small details that you won't mind reading it over and over because you'll be discovering something new each time. I appreciate the cute names that fit the story and characters, the adventure, and the history. The illustrations are like whimsical fine art that spark imagination and wonder into a young mind. Fortunately, they've thought of that and even provide links to complimentary and complementary printable pages for you and your child to express the creativity that it incites. As soon as I saw this book I went looking to see if they had any others. There is another which focuses on the alphabet in the same beautiful, creative and thoughtful way. I highly recommend them both.My only complaint is that they don't have more, but it's worth the wait until the next one.

Great children's book
This is a delightful book. The story line is good from beginning to end, and the little bear is adorable. The message to children is not to give up their dreams. The illustrations are first-rate, wonderful. It deserves the awards it has garnered. If you go to the bottom of the whole page about this book, there is a fabulous "cartoon" video with the author narrating it. I whole-heartedly suggest you buy it, not just for families or children interested in airplanes and aviation, but for all children who love Teddy bears and upbeat stories.

Honey and Gasoline have a lot in common in this clever tale of flying
“There once was a very small bear who dreamed of flying. Everyone told him he was too little to fly. But he always wore flying goggles, just in case they changed their minds, which is why all his family called him “Goggles.” Whether in the bathtub, at breakfast, or tucked in bed, Goggles dreamed of flying, but always with his jar of honey nearby. The desire to fly must have run in the Wright family, because his grandparents had built their first airplane, called it “The Wright Plane.” However, one important obstacle made flying impossible, a reliable fuel. Lemonade, custard, ketchup, and chocolate were too fizzy, gluggy, slurpy, or gooey, until Goggles recommended his favorite food HONEY!With courage, determination, and sneakiness, Goggles slips on board the first flight and realizes that dreams do come true. Find out how Goggles saves the day when the Flyer flies through the clouds and runs out of Honey. Kids will love Goggles, his little pal Mouse, the amazing fantasy airplane, and the honey jar that fills up as the pages are turned. Endpapers contain a dedication to the famous Wright brothers, Orville and Wilbur Wright, the first humans to fly in the “Wright Flyer.”

A Most Purr-fectly Honey of A Bear Book!
Mumzy and I love books! While Mumzy reads, --- moi --- being the resident pussycat --- well, I absolutely adore perching upon a good book while she expands my literary knowledge! Mumzy purchased this adorable book for Mumzy's and Popzy's grandnephew. When the book arrived, Mumzy checked it out --- with my help of course. Alas, being a pussycat, I was so very curious. It is a grand book with the loveliest illustrations! However, what Mumzy and I appreciated the most is the slight educational lesson at the very end: Explaining about the history of flight and how bees make honey. Oh, honey! How I absolutely adore honey! Although, it is not meant for pussycats --- it is too bad that I myself am not a bear, for honey would be so very delicious to taste. As for flight, --- well, I absolutely adore flying! I may not be a bird either, yet I have taken to flight with my Mumzy and Popzy --- on a plane of course! Returning to the subject of the book. It is absolutely beautiful! Purr-fectly written and purr-fectly illustrated! One will not be disappointed! Phffft! Thus, one has the opinion of the resident pussycat --- namely moi!

An enjoyable book for little ones
A darling book by Jonathan Gunson, about a little bear's dream to be the first bear to fly! Very, imaginative, bringing the message to children that with persistence and believing in oneself, dreams can come true. The vivid illustrations, by Richard Robinson and Jonathan Gunson, add another layer of beauty to the characters, their expressions and settings of the story. I especially liked the little honey pot located in the corner of every page that keeps filling when the page is turned. An additional note is the inclusion of the last pages of this book, sharing a learning lesson with photos of the Wright Brothers and their first flight and the sequences of how bees make honey! I know my audience of little readers would enjoy Goggles: The Bear Who Dreamed of Flying!
