This cover does the job. The material is sturdy and it is very easy to put on and take off. I have a Jeep Grand Cherokee and park in a driveway surrounded by trees. The pine needles drop on the wipers and fall down into the motor and fan area. I am putting the cover on in the opposite direction because the proper direction exposes the corners of the windshield. It's not a perfect fit but is doing the job. I am hesitant to shut the doors with the flaps tucked in as I don't want the door molding to be compromised. The magnets hold the cover in place on the top of the car and are a nice feature. Based on what I am observing it will work just as well for snow. Because I am using it upside down the flaps blow up but the windshield is covered well enough to meet my needs. I suppose snow will be the final test. The cover takes seconds to take off and put on. The material is of excellent quality and so easy to work with. It has done a fantastic job in the extreme heat at keeping the car cool. I have a tissue thin cover on my truck so I don't mind shutting it inside the doors but it is a lot more trouble to work with and like the design of this cover so much more. I'll update my review if it doesn't work well with the snow but for now I'm very happy with it!!

When I got it, I was unsure because I didn’t want it to take me too long to put it in and off. I work going to client houses and needed to be on time. The first time I used I realized how easy and practical it was. It provides more shade that the ones you put inside of your car. The 2 contras I found are that when is very windy, the sides can fold, getting sun in. This really happened couple of times in really windy weather, but still happened. The other contra is that is outside of your car, even if the sides are kept inside, is easily removed. It someone wants to steal it, it can happened. However, it didn’t happened to me, and I enjoyed it very much and the big shade it provides

I love this elegant design, easy to use and works well. Well picked material (light weight and durable). However I took one star off for being a little too short on my minivan's windshield. I bought the large one, if it's 2 inches longer it would be perfect on my minivan (Toyota Sienna).

I was a little skeptical about ordering this product but my wife was tired of having to scrape frost from her windshield on these cold NJ mornings so I gave it a try. This works as advertised at keeping frost from forming on the windshield. Just put it on the night before and take it off in the morning - windshield is clear and no more late starts to the workday! This also works great on snowy or icy days - just peel the cover off and the ice and snow come with it (just don't forget to clean the snow off the roof of the car or you'll end up blinded at the first stop light!).

This works very well, the magnetic perfect cover on the glass, will not scrape off, also can prevent dust and sun, mainly used to prevent snow, very suitable for my Subaru, I don't need to worry, the snow here, parked in my car, solve this problem I have no place to put the car, equal to my car's clothes, I like it,5 stars.

So, I have had this product now for a couple of months. I live in Wisconsin so, this was a much needed product. It really does a decent job. I own a 2006 prius and it seems to fit pretty good, the wipers are not completely covered when on though. Now, the reason i give this a 3 out of 5 is because apparently there are supposed to be magnets at the bottom of the cover to help keep snow out. Mine for some reason does not have them. I have felt for them, i have tried to press it down to my car and nothing! There was a snow storm we had that was windy and it flipped up the bottom half of the cover on me, i still had to clean off a bunch of snow on my windshield. If the magnets were actually in there, the rating would be a 5.

I have to leave for work early in the morning, and for the last few weeks my windows have been iced up. One day I simply could not scrape the ice off and had to wait for my defroster to clear the windshield (I was late to my new job).Thank goodness I don't have to deal with that any longer. I just put the elastic bands around the mirrors and tuck the flaps in the doors. It takes me 15 seconds to remove the cover the next morning, and there's no ice on my windshield.I put it with the black side out, to absorb heat. The other side is reflective silver, and I expect I can use that inside the car to keep it cooler on hot days (my visors should hold it in place).I'm really glad I saw an ad for this thing. It makes my mornings much easier. (I can sleep an extra ten minutes now.)

Feels light weight, sets up and folds away in seconds. I leave it in the back seat to thaw out. No need for scraping. Works so well I bought more for my adult children at Christmas - continues to be a big hit!! This is the first two months, I expect it to hold up well for a long time (however, if I just get one winter, it is still well worth it!!) The elastic straps work well (loop over the side mirrors). Black on one side, Silver on the other, quilted waterproof fabrics.
