Best option either way.
#1 it works - that's what I bought it for. The chemical could be a little stronger but it does work. Easy to store, easy to set up and I've cleaned everything on a old 60 Pontiac, 58 Thunderbird and 56 Chrysler. The chemical ones get real saturated. While this organic stuff never seems to really clean up as it says, it still remains better at cleaning after being used on some of the dirtiest parts. For the price and portability I can't complain!

Great Investment
Best purchase for small shop. When not in use, easily stows out of the way.

Great product for home use
The item came very quickly . I like the fact that the detergent is eco - friendly and there's no harmful chemicals . I used it to clean brake parts and it worked very well. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is , there is no way to get extra detergent . Either on amazon or CRC's website . There will come a time that I will be looking for these items and they are no where to be found . Other than that I really like this product for home use

Works great but
This is a very, very expensive cleaning system. Other 3 gallon circulating systems can be had for $100 or less. Also the bio packs need to be added every 30 days. 4 pack for $29.31 is $87.93 a year. The ready to use make up solution is currently not available at Amazon. When the unit is placed in the up right position for storage it leaks like a sieve and runs all over the floor. It does, however do a good job cleaning parts so I gave it 1 Star.

A Well Thought-Out Beast!
At almost $400 (Amazon price at the time of this review) this ain't inexpensive. Not one bit. But other than a few quibbles it's really hard to find fault with this item.First off, CRC's website shows this item as being sold only at Amazon or NAPA (where it will run you about $20 more). So if you want to get this item now your choices are limited. I was tempted to deduct one star because the micro-beads and degreasing solution don't seem to be available anywhere (so I can't tell whether this is going to be a printer-type offering: you know what I mean, where the user gets gouged on post-printer purchase ink cartridges). But I like CRC's products and trust the company. So no deduction.Second, I thought this unit would be big, but it's even bigger than that! On the product page you can see a photo of a gentleman using the item and it seems bigger than that! Fortunately, it's built really solidly (something that makes the item feel really sturdy despite its size).Third, very well thought out. I like that the unit doesn't have to be drained when it's stood on its end when not in use. While the unit comes with an AC adapter I want to do a bit more research to see it I can make this battery-powered (so as not to be limited in use). I say this because the huge size of the tub means it will work for dozens of jobs (far more than what's suggested on the side of the box!).Really, really well thought-out; really, really well-built; really, really worth the money (even though I received a bit of a discount in return for this review (Vine items are not always free) it was worth it. If you're not sure if it would be for you, maybe stop by your local NAPA store and see it (buy it?) there.5 stars. Impressive.

It’s ok but
I have never spent this much for something in this category. It may not cut grease as good as you would expect from conventional parts washers. It is non caustic and probably keeps the skin on your hands smooth like Palmolive. I do like the portability. Great company and I like all the solvents in the can that I purchase from them. I hope I get to liking this one better as time goes on.

Thrilled with this parts washer
We're restoring a classic car in a (barely) two car garage, so it's an understatement to say space is at a premium. The idea of a portable parts washer that doesn't use the harsh chemicals ( we always used kerosene ) sounded amazing, but we were hugely skeptical that this would actually work.Setting up the machine was easy as unpacking, plugging in, and dumping the gallon of cleaning fluid, 2 additional gallons of water, and one of the "micro packs" into the hopper. We started with a grimy tie rod assembly that had caked up grease from years of driving with the old engine dripping oil onto it. We couldn't believe how well this machine worked. The grime came right off and after drying it on the fold out rack it was perfectly clean and ready for the bead blaster. The machine is well built, and from looking at CRCs product page it appears that the pump is replaceable along with the brush assembly, which means you're not throwing the thing away if it sees a lot of use over the years. The machine is deep enough that we were able to use it on the bench without splashing things that were sitting next to the machine. The only concern right now is it looks like the fluid and micro packs are not yet available for purchase. Hunting around the CRC site and Amazon we can't find them anywhere. Given you're supposed to put in a bio-pack every 30 days or two packs if you haven't used the machine for a month, it would be good to know how expensive the packs are. Assuming they are reasonable priced, this is an amazing product for those with limited space and who want a less toxic way to clean parts.

The good. The great and the bad.
This is a really nice washer. My son and I have recently gotten into restoring dirtbikes and if you know vintage dirtbikes they are nasty. Most of the have parts that are extremely dirty and need to be cleaned badly.Basically you put in the liquid and clean your parts. It is very easy to do and it is easy to learn. The whole thing is easy to move around. It really doesnt weigh very much. The portability of this item is what won me over. The only downside and this is minor is each time you use this you need to use new cleaner. We waited until we had all the parts out we wanted to clean before we used the parts cleaner. If you are looking for a really awesome device that will help you figure out I'd that dirty part is salvageable or not this will help you get there. It is light, easy to use and is portable. There is nothing else you need to know.
