Outstanding reference - very complete and updated. A great resource not just for boards, but to keep fresh knowledge on the fly, prepare brief chalk talks, Etc. Great book! I have both editions!

Just Passed the ABP exam with a score well above the national average. This book is the best and essential resource for review for the board exam and during your peds residency.It has the basic and the important vital information.PROS: You can easily go through the pages and listen to the same chapters on the author’s YouTube channel while driving or at the gym and emphasize that by reviewing the flashcards at the end of the book. 90% of the board exam questions are direct clinical seniors that you encounter during your inpatient and outpatient rotations.All you need to pass your board exam and to master your clinical rotations during your residency is this book and the last 5 years of prep questions.CONS: I wish the next edition comes with an index at the beginning of each chapter or a detailed index to make it easy to find informationBut still worth five stars in terms of the best book for your board exam

I was fortunate to pass the Boards at first attempt. My mean resources included PREP questions and Last Minute Review section of this excellent book. This section, is a summarize of high yield Board Exam material. It helped me to memorize the information required to perform well in the exam.Dr. Naga's book is very complete, includes all important and updated information that a General Pediatrician should know. Easy to read and to consult as needed for your practice.I also highly recommend Dr. Naga's YouTube videos. You can drive or go for a walk while preparing for the Boards by listening to these super helpful videos.I give 5 starts to this excellent resource and its outstanding editor!

I am a little disappointed with this textbook because to keep it brief they have left out important words in the text. For example if the topic is hypoparathyroidism it behoves to write low serum calcium and high phosphorus not just the words serum calcium and phosphorus without indicating which would be high and which would be low. It should not for the reader to figure out what the authors mean!

I have read the two editions. This is a very complete, detailed, easy to memorize review of all the pediatric field. Excellent to study for the pediatric board but more important, this book is a must if you want to practice real pediatrics. I give the book 5 stars and congratulate the authors. Please keep the good work. The children and the pediatricians both need more books like this one.

It is very easy to memorize and fast review for the board examI like to combine it with the author YouTube videos and last min review flash cards at the end of the book.

Unfortunately paid full price for new book , but book was damaged as shown in the pictures above. Hope seller responds to it.
