Dashing Dots Collection Blue and Green Polka Dot Piggy Bank Adorable Baby/Toddler Gift

I wanted to get something like what I had as a child for our 1 year old son and this is the closest I could get. It is VERY cute...much bigger than what I had as a child, but how is that a bad thing for a bank? lol The only troubles I had with it is, I had put some coins in it before my husband told me that he wanted to take them to be exchanged for dollar bills; so I had to take them back out. The coins would get stuck in the legs inside. Luckily, my fingers are small and I could reach in and get them loose to come out. Which I don't see this as a huge problem since you are suppose to be saving money in it, not taking it out :) Other than that, I would say that the "plug" on the bottom is quite easy to accidentally push into the piggy's belly and have to dig out. They should have made the outer ring bigger than the inner so that this was harder to do (like mine), but if you are careful you will be fine.

This bank is very cute, heavy duty, and the perfect weight. It is heavy enough to be durable but not so heavy that when my toddler picks it up he may drop it. I wouod consider it a "jumbo" sized bank, size is bigger than a traditional but not too big. Would buy again.

This piggy bank is just too cute. It's large and has vibrant colors. The only reason I'm not giving a 5 star review is because the plastic stopper isn't the easiest thing to use. It's not easy to remove and not easy to put back on. Im worried when my little one is bigger that I'll have to fish the hard plastic stopper out of his previous piggy bank. Oh well...I'd still buy it again!

I purchased this piggy bank for my 20 month old son shortly after he was born. The blue and green shades are just too cute and match his bedroom decor. The pig is durable, even when it was full of change and my older son sort of dropped it a few inches above the carpet. The bank came with a dry erase marker so you can write a child's name or other info on it. The ink erases too easily, however, so we just left it blank. The piggy bank is a great size for holding bills and coins!

I got this one and the pink one for twins. Since the pink one had a bow, I bought a minature cowboy hat and glued it. I used my own ink pens because I didn't like the ones they provided. The size of the bank is nice. I liked everything else about it.

This piggy bank can hold a lot of coins, larger (though well packed) than I expected, perfect for a (high) shelf in a baby's room! I did personalize it with the erasable marker, but it's very erasable and I would have preferred, say, stickers. But this means the gift recipient can always erase or change what's written.We gave it as a "welcoming" gift, along with a US Mint proof set. Hopefully the coins endure, at least.

We got this as a nursery decoration for our new baby boy. It is kind of a tradition in our family to get piggy banks for the new additions. When he gets to be older, it will have to be put up where he can't accidentally "play" with it and break it as it is ceramic. I feel like that's okay though since he won't be little forever and he'll get to the age where he can take care of more breakable items. I don't think there's a whole lot to review on. What you see, is what you get!

First of all, this is not a toy, so rating the "fun, educational value, and durability" is not applicable. I ordered the piggy bank for my youngest grandson's first birthday. His older brother has a similar one that he had gotten when he was born and it was no longer available in stores. This piggy bank is just what I was looking for - similar size and quality. The oldest grandson was so excited when his baby brother received it he immediately took it to their bedroom and put it on their dresser right next to his piggy bank.
