I bought this for the mud room and didn't want to spend hundreds... I was worried it was going to be a little cheap, but it looks really nice and assembly was easy. I wouldn't set on the bench being 250lbs, but I feel it would hold a 150 lb person changing shoes. It was a great buy!!! 100 percent would recommend!UPDATE: I've had this for 5 months now, it's really held up through the wear, heavy coats duffel bags in seat six pair of shoes in and out of the shelves on bottom. I've even sat on it once or twice really quick to tie my shoe. It is excellent, even made better when the price is considered.

It’s a decent stand for now. It’s not the sturdiest yet it’s not flimsy. Super easy to scratch though. It was simple to put together and didn’t take over an hour. It is so small, it’s as if it were designed with kids in mind only. I knew the dimensions prior to, it’s just a little funny to see in-person. It is a cute little stand. I just don’t see us keeping it beyond the next couple of years. Note: it does not come with screws for the hooks, so you’ll have to get your own or let them hooks slide freely.

It was just the right width for my space. Other people complained that the hooks were not fixed, but I liked that they are movable. A shelf at the top would have made a nice addition, but not necessary

Package arrived early, very easy to assemble, good value for the money, only minor issue was small screws for hooks were not included but I have enough around the house to use so not a big concern.

Really love this coat rack and so does my kitty. Very sturdy unit and takes up way less space as compared to the original type hall tree. Had some difficulty with lining up the racks where the bars connect prior to installing on unit. Just work with lining them up and it works out fine. Also when putting the wooden shelf, if it's too tight and difficult to get in the unit, loosen up the two racks some and it will slide right in. I also used a tool to line up the holes on the unit to get the screws in (some were more difficult than others) Everything was included as needed to put unit together (diagram, screws, etc.)

Strong and sturdy rack, I have had it for 8 or 9 months and is still in great shape with jackets and shoes piled on. Easy to assemble- I’m a female and I put this rack together alone and had no issues. The only thing I didn’t do was screw the hooks in, and they would lift off with your jacket or bag, so I just bent them in a bit and used some sticky tack under and it solved the problem. The adjustable legs were great for my uneven floor. Perfect coat rack for a small space and on a budget.

When we opened it there was no box damage and all foam was in place. We assessed all pieces and the wooden front of the shelf was peeling and many of the bars had scratches on them. Some parts slightly bent but seemed to straighten once all put together. Looks nice once built and will do it's job but not the best quality.

Ordered this to put in my daughters room for all her runners, bags and jerseys for her different sports. Fit wonderfully and was surprised with the stability for the price. Easy to set up with a minor issue with some screws needing some extra strength to get into the pre-drilled holes but other than that exactly what you see in the picture you are getting!

Was I skeptical about purchasing this after all the negative reviews I read? Yes, I was. Did I purchase it anyways? Yes, I did. Not everyone has the same opinion. Not everyone has the same issues.When the box arrived, I thought...that looks questionably small, and feels questionably light, but you have to understand this is a compact unit and weights only approximately 18lbs, which is fabulous because it's easy to pick-up and move.Do I think it's worth $79.99? Absolutely not, but it's what I needed for my small space. I took a chance on it, and so should you!!It took me probably 25 minutes at the most to assemble and I don't know what everyone's bitching about! The instructions say to install the seat part following the two racks for shoes and this is the only issue, that the posts are too tight to get the seat in there, so all you do is slightly loosen them up and then tighten it again. Big deal!! So easy!!It's not the highest quality obviously but it works and looks fantastic. I am very pleased with it.Also, don't panic - there is an extra of each screw, etc., included just in case! Perfect!Oh and I used the allenkey all throughout - soooo easy. Come on people, lol.

It was easy to assemble. I did it myself. The only challenge I encounter was the pad on the foot. It was a bit challenging to insert and I needed to tap it with a hammer a few times because it wouldn’t fit but other than that it works well. It’s worth the price. It’s cheap already and it’s pretty sturdy. If I can, I’ll buy another one.
