Works great, not overwhelming smell.
IT WORKS SO WELL!! Having 3 cats and 1 dog, something pet safe was needed. The smell is obviously there, but it's nothing overwhelming and the peppermint is sort of pleasant for me. It also kills spiders!!! I can't stand spiders, they creep me out and we have an older house so they love to come inside. Warning though: it WILL leave a residue where you spray it, if it's a darker wall you can see it. I always try and wipe it up once the spider is gone. The range of the spray & the two spray modes is great! Was able to get the spiders on the ceiling with ease (8ft ceilings, 4'10" me).

It DOES work!
I bought new outdoor wicker furniture and wanted something to prevent spiders from crawling in the holes of the wicker and making it their home. But didn't want something with chemicals. I have used this directly on the lower part of 2 chairs (all sides) and a love seat couch outdoors, spraying every other night or so, easy to do. We have an outdoor patio area and there were webs everywhere before I cleaned it off in preparation for my new furniture, webs in every corner possible. So I bought this hoping that now that I cleaned the webs off, it would help keep them away, I monitored the outside daily, broke down spider webs as I saw them and once my spray came, I started using it. There was one spider, on my plant shelves, that kept building a web, I went out and sprayed right near him and he just crawled into the crevice and I thought, hmmmm.....I didn't want to kill him but I didn't want him to live there either. He made a couple more webs over the next few days but I kept going out there and spraying nightly (because they spiders come out at night, I would spray in the evening) and I thought this spider doesn't seem to mind. He kept building webs and I kept breaking them down. BUT I kept spraying, so the spray does not work instantaneously but it DOES work. You have to be consistent and I am enjoying the benefits, my patio has remained spider web free (which means, spiders aren't hanging out) and the spider that was living on the patio shelf has relocated his home because I don't see him anymore after about week or so of spraying near his home. My patio furniture has also been web free, when I get lazy and I don't go out every other night, a few small webs have appeared but I break them down, then spray and don't see them reappear. I also bought a new outdoor carpet to go under my furniture and spray the corners outside perimeter of the carpet so the spiders will need to walk through the barrier (again spraying in the evenings). This stuff works as preventative maintenance, I don't believe it kills instantaneously though, the spiders just don't like it which is all I care about. I have actual pest control spray that I use for that if needed. This spray has a strong peppermint smell which I don't mind but it fades quickly and not overpowering, I can still enjoy my outdoor furniture without fear of a spider crawling out of no where. I would recommend this product if this info matches your needs.

Spider Repellent or a nose assassin.
Part of me wanted to score this a 2, but I will keep where I am and explain. This Mighty Mint spray is exactly that. MIGHTY. The label says to "spray liberally around problem areas, including baseboards, walls, doors and windows." I followed the instructions to a T. I only sprayed in our recently finished basement to make it a living space and when I tell you my ENTIRE HOUSE smelled like toothpaste, I mean it. The instructions also say to spray 2-3 times a week as needed, to ensure proper pest control. Well, day 2 and there were 2 spiders and a house centipede we had to trap and set outside. Day 2, already 3 bugs. It took almost 2 days alone for the smell to go down, with proper ventilation and fans. I do not dare to even spray my home a second, let alone third time with this stuff. Does the smell accurately portray what is on the label? Yes. Was the mint mighty? Yes. Was it's purpose of spider repellent mighty? No. It was wimpy wimpy wimpy. So, if you're looking for your house to smell like Christmas on drugs, this is the smell for you. For spider repellent? Jury is still out on best solutions.

PEST REPELLENT FAILURE: PEPPERMINT SPIDER FICTION π·οΈπΏπ [ββ οΈβ οΈβ οΈβ οΈ]
Jay Fray delivering the blunt truth about this Mighty Mint peppermint oil spider repellent that completely fails to deliver on pest control promises. Purchased this natural spider repellent expecting some level of effectiveness based on claims about peppermint oil deterring spiders. The product provides zero noticeable spider control with arachnids continuing their presence completely unaffected by peppermint application. The peppermint oil concept sounds appealing for those seeking natural pest control alternatives, but effectiveness matters more than ingredient philosophy. Pest control products must actually control pests to justify their purchase, regardless of how natural or pleasant-smelling the formula might be. Application creates strong peppermint odor throughout treated areas without corresponding spider reduction. Youβre essentially paying to make your house smell like peppermint while spiders continue building webs and occupying spaces exactly as before treatment. For serious spider control, this represents wasted money and false security that delays using actually effective pest management approaches. Time spent applying ineffective natural remedies allows spider populations to establish further. The natural/non-toxic appeal of essential oil repellents doesnβt compensate for complete failure to repel the target pests. If spiders arenβt deterred, the product fundamentally fails its stated purpose. For legitimate spider control, consider conventional pest control products with proven efficacy, physical exclusion methods like sealing entry points, or professional pest management services for serious infestations. Jay Fray verdict: Complete pest control failure that provides zero spider deterrence despite peppermint oil claims. The product smells pleasant but delivers no actual pest management value, making this unsuitable for anyone seeking real spider control solutions.ββββββββββββββββ

Amazing product, recommend this for anyone who has issues with pest insects!
I have about 100 reptiles and amphibians and I've had up to 40 of them living in my room at once. I feed them crickets, fruit flies and various worms. There's always gonna be escaping crickets and fruit flies when you have as many animals as I do! Because of that I have had a VERY, VERY serious problem with spiders in my room for the past 5 years. At one point I was literally getting eaten alive by spiders. I had a couple bites years ago that got infected really bad and had to go to urgent care a few times. I don't even sleep in my room because of it and have been sleeping in the guest room for 5 years now. My room was literally like a spider hotel. I started buying this product at the beginning of the year and it has worked tremendously well. While I still have spiders in my room here and there, it is nothing like what it use to be. I use this regularly to spray all my molding, the molding in my closet, the legs and wheels of my tank stands, and around all my power cords that they love making webs on. It is strong at first, but you get use to it. I'd much rather smell this, than have tons of spiders living in my room!!! It's also rally safe for people and pets unlike all those lethal products like raid!
