Book2 English - Georgian For Beginners: A Book In 2 Languages

This is a very good book for anyone trying to learn Georgian. I like the way it is set up and I like that it is not a tiny phrase book. I have bought two now because I gave the first one to my Georgian teacher and I bought a new one when I returned to the USA. I hope future editions will include a Georgian alphabet chart for those that can't read Georgian. That is the only drawback for this book but still it is an excellent book.

I am using this book as supplementary reading, once I had completed about half of Dodona Kiziria's book. Its clean, simple format is ideal for me to read without distraction. It allows me to keep up the habit of reading, and building vocablulary, without having to think too deeply, maintaining my momentum.The typeface is a little small for my taste, but generally clear, except for differentiating between "v" and "k'"...a nice little book for a great price.

This is a fantastic book, great work. It worths every cent, price is really fair.It is a quite simple book, I feel like a child doing his homework, and that's why I love it!It's helping me read georgian while I listen to the MP3s (freely downloadable)I absolutely recommend it.

This book is great for learning some basic phrases and vocabulary. Also, be sure to download the audio for free from the author's website.

Though there are no rules or any description of the language, it still very helpful in learning new vocabulary. Besides you can download audio files from the internet))

This is a useful thematic phrase book. However,hardly it could be called "for beginners." One needs pretty advanced knowledge of Georgian to use it efficiently.

This has been a Godsend in getting some conversational, easily-repeatable Georgian/English discourse to study, repeat and drum in to my rather till-now unreceptive mind. You need to get the letters and individual letter pronunciation, grammar rules and so on from elsewhere should you need or want them. I have study materials that give me that, but this is the first time I've had useful Georgian I can listen to in the car on the way to work, practicing my pronunciation, and follow up on reading/writing the same with the book. I love this. Thank you Goethe Verlag and whoever else is behind this concept! I also got the Spanish and Russian (to English) versions.

è un semplice frasario (per quanto ricco), non insegna veramente la lingua né dà basi, anche minime, per parlare in autonomia...non sono d'accordo con la dicitura "for beginners"...per comprendere le frasi riportate nel libro si deve avere almeno una base di grammatica e la conoscenza dell'alfabeto...credo che ci dovrebbe essere una descrizione più chiara in allegato all'articolo per dare all'acquirente una migliore visione di ciò che sta comprando...
