The day was saved by finding this necessary charger. Not available in stores due to the technology being at least 10 years down the road from the phone needing this charger. Phone still works great. VERIZON didn't even make the offer to try and obtain this replacement charger. Suggestion to try finding on Amazon was made by a very helpful BEST BUY associate.Delivery was on time based on promised estimate.Product is as advertised and works great!

Trying to charge my phone so I can get pictures off of it .

Completely useless. Returned and not interested in a replacement. The cable plug had no visible data pins and seemed to be clogged with plastic (preventing it from being plugged into the phone).

Someone in my household has a very old cell phone, not a Smart Phone. Does not want to part with this old phone. It was not charging anymore. Decided to see if was the old charger instead of the phone. New charging cable works great! Problem solved! Thanks

I have an old SGH-A777 slide phone with pictures on it I want to keep and back up on my computer. The cable fits the phone and everything but is not detected by the computer. I guess it only works for some models, though my model was listed in the product details. I'm sure the cable will work for some phones but be prepared if it doesn't work at all for your phone.Fortunately, it turns out my phone has bluetooth and can be paired with a computer through a bluetooth usb adapter, so I managed to get the photos after all.
