Wow, this vent cover is way better than I thought it would be! It’s super sturdy and made of heavy-duty metal that feels like it’s built to last. I was worried about mice getting into the ducts and eventually into the house, but with this grill and the built-in fly screen, they’re not getting past it. The design fits perfectly with metal ducts, and the installation was straightforward. It’s clear that this product was made with quality in mind. Definitely worth the investment for peace of mind and keeping the critters out.

Well made but will not fit with a standard 3" hole saw. Had to pull out an old rasp to open the diameter up. But I am pleased with the product.

Nice exterior air inlet/ outlet that is a cast metal product, not sheet metal or plastic. Nice fine-mesh bug screen attached as well. If I had a suggestion for the design, it would be to either pre-drill two screw holes to attach it with. But theoretically it could be either attached to the pipe inside, or applied with some kind of caulk or mastic from the outside. The problem with attaching it permanently though is that it would be very hard to clean the screen if it gets clogged with debris.

Of course I just installed it immediately on a vent fan, you will need a cowling to attach it to a straight 6 inch bathroom "fart" fan. It is not large enough to fit around the "fart" fan I purchased, so I fashioned a cowling to screw it on, then taped it for waterproofing. I'm no "fart" fan installer, so didn't do the full blown correct solution. Best to read other reviews of how to attach it best. Is the product super durable, it's high quality metal, and high quality coated, looks like one that will last literally decades in contact with nature.

The mounting diameter is wrong. 3.9” is incorrect. It is 5”. So if you order a whole saw to install this get a 5” whole saw bit not a 4” like the listing says.

These are pretty heavy duty. Fit my project perfectly but I would say the color was darker than I thought it would be. The diameter I needed was about 5 3/4” this stated it was 5.8” and fit like a glove for me.

This vent was made of quality material. I was able to easily hook it to my vent and replace it with a white one. You can buy these in many colors.

I wasn't sure what to expect with these vents but they surpassed my expectations of quality. I would purchase again if needed.
