Works Great!
Ok so I have to say the first unit that was delivered was defective. The dirty water leaked everywhere. I was able to troubleshoot with BISSELL and they suggested I tried it again. I did and it still leaked. I was texting their support and sent pictures. They sent a replacement immediately. It was here in two days.I received it yesterday and tried it today after charging and it worked perfectly. Just as itâs supposed to. No leaking anywhere. The suction is great and made easy work of a pet accident. Make sure everything is threaded and clicked into place and youâll have a great little unit to help when you donât want to drag out the huge shampooer. The included solution is great on stains too. I did an area of the hallway and didnât lose a single bar on the battery. It seems like those that are having leaking issues have a defective unit. If you get a defective product reach out to BISSELL directly, they stand behind their products and thereâs a reason so many people purchase them. Iâm loyal to the brand and thatâs one of the many reasons. Theyâre very responsive via text and handled my issue right away.

Really nice for handmade carpet
The media could not be loaded. I used it without stain removers ( just with water and a drop of dish soap) to deep clean our carpets (our carpets are handmade and super sensitive to chemicals)...The suction is very good, minimal damp will remain which is ok and safe for our carpets! And regarding the quality of cleaning you can see the pictures where I cleaned half of the carpet.... and the end results! Phenomenal! The water tank is a little bit small for cleaning bigger surfaces and I had to fill it several times for cleaning this size carpet!I charged it and used it for the carpet and the charge was ok!The device is not heavy at all but I was really tired after deep cleaning the carpet! I mean there is a certain amount of time you can work with this cleaner! After that, you will be so tired irrespective of how much charge it has!The suction doesnât eat the big chunks of dirt, I removed them manually! But smaller dirt is eaten easily!Overall, if you have large or several carpets, consider buying a larger device but for one carpet, car, sofa.... this is definitely a great device!Really liked how it cleaned our carpet!I was so hesitant to buy this after reading several reviews saying it leaks! But when you fill the water tank it has a hole for water to fill in and another hole to splash ( so it will leak while you are filling it) but while working it doesnât leak at all, you need to press a button to splash the water! For me, the charging and leaking was not a problem! It is also very easy to clean!

Works as well as I hoped
First, I will readily admit that it does not work as well as say, a 'Bissell 3624 SpotClean Professional Portable Carpet Cleaner - Corded' but it is a lot lighter and much much easier to set up, pack and clean after using. I seldom need a lot of capacity in either the spray or dirty water container so that is about perfect. It only weighs about twice as much as a typical Dustbuster and there is no cord to unwind and rewind. The battery capacity seems good so far. A significant spot cleaning will only use about one of the three available power bars when fully charged.Yes, the suction is less than a corded portable cleaner but it is adequate. First, you need to realize that vacuums do not pick up stuff, especially liquids, by suction; you get it by air flow so if you bear down or bury the nozzle in puddle you get little air flow and therefor little suction and second (think more like a tornado than a vacuum), if you are picking a significant amount of liquid or a heavy liquid then every 10-15 seconds rotate the unit so the tip it's upright and let any liquid that is accumulating to drain into the tank.About the leaks, if you don't put the clear top of the nozzle/tip on properly it will leak badly on use. Make sure the tab on the base of the unit is firmly in the clear plastic tip before snapping it in. I have seen no other significant leaks of dirty water.I never use a cleaning agent unless it is in a separate spray bottle. Water will clean most normal spills (I normally only use my unit for cleaning up after pet accidents and plain water works 98% of the time) and when you do use a cleaning agent use it very sparingly so you can rinse it all out with water. Professional rug cleaners will tell you that people using too much cleaning agent and not rinsing it all out will make it difficult to professionally clean it later.Overall I like the unit because it is cordless about half as heavy as the lightest corded wet/dry vacuum and much easier to set up, pack up and clean afterwards. It is not perfect but the best I have found so far.Update: I would like to add few ergonomic comments. It is hard for me to pull the clean water tank out of the body. I wish the grip ridges were bigger and deeper and provided more leverage to pull the reservoir out. Ditto the dirty water reservoir. The ridges in the tank are neither sharp or deep - fortunately once you release it it does not take much to pull it out. I agree with other reviews about the little doors that cover the charging port. They are an unneeded feature that makes it more difficult to plug in the charging core and a possible point of failure that could render the whole cleaner unusable. Lastly, the on/off button is hard to locate sometimes. The active portion is not clearly marked and you have to be right in the center to operate it. Minor digs but something Bissell might want to consider for future models.

Must have for new puppies
We got a new beagle puppy about 5 months ago. We have been going through the housebreaking process and this product was a life saver. Before I got it, I would have to haul out my large carpet cleaner every time the puppy had an accident. This is much more convenient and works great for any spot on your carpet. The only complaint is that it takes a good bit of carpet cleaning liquid for each spot so I would recommend buying extra liquid. I have had no issue with leaking. Suction power is good. I keep it on charge and filled at all times so it is ready to go when needed.

Battery problems
I have had this for 5 years, it has less than 5 hours on it and the battery is completely dead, will not take a charge. If you leave it unplugged, when you need it, it will be dead. If you leave it plugged in, it will be dead. It has been like this all along, do not buy unless you use it everyday. This is purely my experience. I gave it 3 stars only because on the rare occasions it worked, it did a good job.
