I am so shocked and sad that these shakes are discontinued. I’ve been drinking these for like 15 years. They were top tier shakes, better than any other protein shake on the market and I’ve tried many. They tasted great and made me feel better instantly. I hope they will come back again.

These shakes are a life saver. I use them for a lot of things. As a breakfast, as a meal replacement to cut calories if I want to diet, as a lunch if I'm too busy to eat lunch, as a snack to maintain blood sugar (not the entire bottle at once), if my blood sugar is very low, when I'm sick and can't eat due to nausea, etc.The flavor is great. I tried so other brands that had the artificial sugar aftertaste I can't stand. These ones don't, but that also means they are higher in sugar compared to many other brands (which I personally don't mind). Because these shakes have this malty texture to them, the mocha and chocolate flavors work really well (it makes it seem intentional). And the more you drink them, the more you aquire a taste for them. These are definitely my favorite "protein shake."

Just got off the phone with a Kellogg's rep. Yes, it's true. Special K Shakes have been discontinued. I loved these shakes and drank one almost every day for years. Delicious taste, high protein, high fiber, and easy on the stomach. I am very disappointed that they have been discontinued. I have tried many other protein shakes, but these are (or were) my favorite.

I work night shift, so I’ve started drinking these to keep the late night snacking at bay. There’s not a difference between buying 3 of the 4 packs, and buying this 12 pack. Price is the same unless you use auto-ship, like me.The taste is good, I prefer the rich chocolate over the milk chocolate, and I don’t like any of the other flavors, to be honest. So I’ll be sticking with rich or milk chocolate. It’s not chalky to me, nor does it have an aftertaste like most protein shakes/powders do. Obviously these probably aren’t a good protein supplement if you’re a lifter, but for me it’s good as a meal replacement, at the very least.None of mine were expired or anything like that, so not a bad purchase overall.

I bought a 4 pack of these at my small town's only grocery store not expecting much, but was out of Boost and getting sick of it anyway.Actually these taste pretty good. The flavor isn't as strong as some of the other nutritional drinks, (you know, old people tend to lose their sense of taste somewhat so guess that's why they make the other stuff so strong tasting..) But anyway, these tasted pretty good; good enough that I stopped using Boost and for the most part only use this now. It costs less and has as much protein and vitamins as everything else.It also doesn't have that slimy texture that many of these type of drinks have either. This does have sugar which is alright; won't touch the artificial junk..Not crazy about soy being in there either, but that's' pretty much what you get for protein with these types of drinks.OH and the Biggie here is that you can drink part of it and put it back in the refrigerator and it still smells and tastes fine the next day; which is a HUGE change from most of the others that tend to start smelling and tasting bad within just a few hours. This way I don't end up throwing so much out now.

I've been using these protein shakes for a few years now. I like the taste much better than any other brand. I'm sure it wouldn't be the choice of anyone super-serious about nutrition, but it gives me what I need to start my day. Also, handy to grab on-the-go. Milk chocolate is my usual flavor and I often throw it in a blender with powdered peanut butter, instant coffee crystals or fruit along with some ice to make a smoothie.

Every single time I order more than three of these, they come either busted, missing, sometimes I don't even get the order at all. So please do yourself a favor and only order 3 or less at a time. That way you will get your complete order and not have to call in about it. I adore the mocha. It really relaxes me. Anytime I'm upset, having a bad day or just want to unwind a bit I drink one of these. It's a shame though they aren't always in stock here. You have to stalk the page plus there are sellers charging $50 for a $20 item. So that you have to be careful of as well. I've been ordering these for almost two years now. Never had an issue with them being expired.
