Recently having open heart surgery and being on a limited sodium diet I was looking for something that would take the place of salt and give my food some flavor. Well, I’ve found it in Bensons Table Tasty blend of spices! I went through hundreds of dollars worth of spices before finally landing on Bensons Blends. They make many different flavorings but I like the Table Tasty the best. You can use it on everything to give your tastebuds a welcoming salt substitute! If you’re trying to go low salt/no salt diet give Bensons a try. You won’t regret it! There is NO, I mean No aftertastes other then the freshness of squeezed lemon and there is no potassium chloride nasties in their product! A very welcome surprise. Thank you Bensons! Even though your products are a bit pricey, I’m worth it. As someone said many moons ago, try it you may be surprised at how good it makes everything taste better. After being diagnosed with AFib, I had to drastically cut my salt intake and watch my diet as a whole. I found that it was cutting back salt that proved to be the most difficult. I tried almost everything available and even tried some combinations of herbs on my own but nothing had that satisfying completeness of flavor that salt gives. I bought Benson's tasty and it was the closest I had found yet but it lacked something on its own. I liked that their products are health aware so I tried some of their other flavors. I found that by combining their Zesty and Tasty seasonings, I could get that completeness that salt adds to food. It is not the same but it is just as satisfying. Nothing else I tried came even close. I no longer miss salt .

Big fan and purchaser of Benson's 2 lb. bags for a long time now. This $10.00 increase is too much and sadly I won't be purchasing it again.

Even though it is overpriced, I am willing to do it because the flavor is so good...without the side effects of sodium.
