Edit... 4/12/20... I still stand by my original review, however, must amend the notation about the product faring well in hot weather. I just received my latest of numerous orders of this product. It was 82 degrees and my bars were on my front porch for most of the day. I waited 48 hours before opening the box, and my bars were, and are, a melted, gooey mess. I can’t find anywhere on the Amazon site to file a comment, much less a complaint, about such a thing. Given the current Coronavirus situation, I wouldn’t try to trek to the PO to return them, anyway. Just beware if you order in the hot months. As information, I have ordered directly from the Good Snacks site during hot months (same cost), and their package arrived with a cold pack and well insulated. That has never been the case when ordered through Amazon. Still love the product, though. Original review: I've tried most of the flavors, with lemon being my favorite, followed by peanut butter, chocolate peanut butter, and blueberry... in that order. These protein bars are the best, flavor-wise, that I have tried. And I like the fact that there are no sugar alcohols or soy in the ingredient list. The only problem is that they seriously taste too good! I have to pace myself, as it is very easy to eat two or three in any given day. I'm a repeat buyer and will continue buying! I have also ordered during the sweltering months, and they've sat on my front porch for hours before I could retrieve them. Quality was not sacrificed... just brought them in and let them re-acclimate to the indoor temps before enjoying. Seriously good product!

I've been eating a lot of protein bars recently. And reviewing a lot of protein bars, too. My primary qualifications: High protein to calorie ratio (13+g : ~200c). *NO* fake sugars of any kind, including those derived from plants. (No stevia, monk fruit, sugar alcohols, or anything else. Just real-deal sucrose, glucose, or fructose, please.) Some fiber, to help with satiation. Delicious flavor. (Naturally.) My benchmark bars are Simply Protein Whey (coconut flavor). good! Cookie Dough bars meet basically all of my qualifications on paper. Good protein ratio, decent-looking ingredients. They arrive in a nice looking box, and the bars are decently sized. (Also important. I need to be at least a little bit full when I eat one, or what's the point?) On tasting, I found them to be mostly good. The overall flavor is not what I'd call cookie dough like, but generally registers sweet and chocolaty. There are some crunchy bits in the mix to create a bit of textural contrast, which is always appreciated, as the main body of the bar is somewhat mushy. There is a very slight edge to the flavor -- maybe a sourness? -- that's somewhat unpleasant, but it is mostly covered by the other flavors. A bigger issue, for me, is that like a lot of bars, these have a bit of a chalky finish. You can feel it for a while in your mouth after eating, especially if you don't take a drink. That's my primary reason for deducting a star from these. So overall, very good, but not perfect. And while not one of my primary considerations, I should also mention that these bars are very fairly priced as far as protein bars go, so they represent a good value. Definitely recommended with slight reservations. I'm looking forward to sampling some of the other flavors.

Good flavor & texture. I only know this from purchasing elsewhere. Amazon delivered an open carton with two missing bars. Would love to order other flavors but seems to always be unavailable

Flavor is spot on to birthday cake. A little dry but that is okay. If there is a way to replace the sunflower seed oil in it to something else healthier, that would be perfection. Adding a note: These have 9 grams added sugar. Please, please, please consider cutting the added sugar in half. (3 or 4 grams) They will still be delicious. Also healthier. More will probably buy them also!
