Includes extra sets of batteries. the one thing I did not like about it is that you have to put the batteries in to turn it on and remove them to turn the unit off. The batteries are small and can be a little hard to deal with. It is made well, laser is bright and easy to pick up. If it had an easier way to turn off and on, it would be perfect. Works as intended. Zeroed right out from the box, good distance coverage.

I'm sure that part is my fault. But to label it 9mm/223 usually indicates it somehow does both. If you sell another product that covers the other bore size, label that product separately. It just convolutes things for new firearm owners. I was obviously expecting more than was possible. But naming it like that is misleading.Product wise, my first thought is, no power button? Even if you put a hole for a paperclip on the side where the button could be housed, at least it's something. Taking the batteries out then back in, then out again...really? There are enough loose bits and bobs to worry about with firearms. Don't add to it for Pete sakes.Overall, 3*'s for misleading product name and poor design.

As soon as you realize what to expect and what not to expect, this little bore sight is perfect. It allows you to align your 9mm at around 10-15m to get on paper. The rest is up to red dot tuning. However, to get started and put the hole on the paper in 25-50ft away, this little sight is a must-have. It is super convenient and simple to use.
